Just wanted to stop in and say awesome job on the remake! The game runs just like I remember. The game is beautiful, epic, and I love the remake. It made me remember how rusty I really am at Halo 1. Thanks for including bumper jumper!!! The game feels smooth, looks amazing, and I got to relive my youth last night running through a couple levels on legendary.
I can’t wait until I have the time to run through the whole game! It is an epic game that still plays great 10 years later!
<3 goes out to 343 for the awesome remake! Anyone who says “this sucks, it isn’t Halo.” Well, I guess they need a big reminder by going back to the original like I did last night playing your game!
Congrats! I look forward to Halo 4, Halo Wars 2, and PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD remake Halo 2 like HCEA. Just do a graphics overhaul and please… pretty pretty please… Leave the bxb and bxr and double shot in the game :)) Those were the most fun times of my life as a gamer!

Have you played through The Truth and Reconciliation? Night vision on the sniper rifle is practically blinding. Apparently they applied the same effect, but the new graphics are brighter, so the added brightness is too much. I ended up switching back to the old graphics whenever I wanted to scope in with night vision on.

I thought it was more of the game world being a lot brighter. I didn’t need to use the night vision at all.

> Chances are your TV is just set too bright.
Feel free to explain how that would explain why night vision looks great with the original graphics but not the new graphics.
My TV is in a room dedicated to my A/V system and has been calibrated for use in complete darkness. It’s not too bright.

I can believe that, but to me that represents a change in how the game is played, which was something they wanted to avoid. The physics and mechanics are the same, but if you use different strategies and play differently because the graphics are brighter they’ve effectively changed gameplay.
