All by accident and I unfortunately got the boot. Was a good game too. Bad spawning while driving a hog and two rocket betrayals while I was in the mantis. Uggh

At least you killed those guys accidentally. I really hate when you’re paired up with an -Yoink- in BTB and they just kill you twice and tease you the rest of the game.
I had the oni tank and this one teammate kept jumping in front of my tank to get splattered. It happened twice so I was watching out for him but then an enemy ghost and banshee came after me. Luckily the ghost killed him the next time but now I have a hog that’s harassing me. Low and behold my fellow teammate got splattered again by me while I was busy fighting so he got to boot me and take my tank. boo hoo
I feel ya dude, I was kicked for accidentally betraying before once while I was on an unfrigginbelievable. Thankfully it still counted or I would’ve been super salty. game for proof. Also OP just an FYI, posts about bans go to its respective megathread.

Nope, but betraying your teamates was a bad idea.
I have not been booted for betrayals and you’re less likely to get booted if you use your mic and apologize for it. If there were a tracker for this the most accidental betrayal is my teammates will walk into a Splinter grenade. Which makes me wonder are they doing it on purpose or are they really willing to just kill themselves for the other team.

I never knew you could get booted for 3 betrayals. I get betrayed by teammates but never had the option to boot them.
Don’t feel so bad, yesterday I was at L5 req super early in the game (probobly 100-50) I spawned in a sword wraith, and we capture an armory with it. At that point I was the only reason our team was winning, and I accidently run over two teammates at the same time. And I got the boot immediately.
before I got booted I had about 17-20 kills and our team was winning 200-50…my team later lost that game…
I always wondered if halo 5 should have a system like CS:GO where other players review the betrayals and decide who should get banned?
