3 arbys in halo wars=OP

Title says it all… It’s a bit ridiculous really

Any evidence or cases which show signs of this being OP? You’re forgetting that the Arby is the most useless leader once you’ve dropped a D-bomb on him.

Good call.

I love triple arby on fort deen and its pretty good too.

exile not so much
frozen its ok

so definitely not OP

There are no OP leader combinations in this game period. There are underpowered ones. There are also underskilled players who do not know how to handle situations that are out of the oridinary. So what they do not understand they call OP.

No OP leader combinations? Have you even played this game at a high level?

Good call

Forge Arby Arby is OP

No leader is OP in Halo Wars. As someone said, once you drop a D-Bomb, the Arbiter is completely useless.

Why do you think having 3 Arbiters is OP? It’s bad having a team with 3 of them lol

I find the best 3v3 team is Forge Ander’s and one of the Covie leaders. Both Forge and Anders have great power units and can rule the ground and air. The Coive player is best to help with counter units.

Three Arbiters is a bit much. Honestly what should one prepare for when seeing triple Covy.

Well, as you’re aware, 90% of the Halo Wars players aren’t familiar with the high level community (which is what MLG would’ve looked like). They don’t come close to what we know because none of us were ever generous to give them any help. Though it’s too late I’m going to eventually release a full fledged tutorial from years ago to give players a new mind set, assuming they know the concepts of the game already. It would be interesting to see what they would do after the incredibly long read I will post some time this week.

In a 3v3 match, I recommend at least one human player. Three of the same character is not a good combo, unless they’re rushing.

Someone said that Forge, Anders and one covie character is a good combo. That can easily defeat three Arbiters. As long as Forge and/or Anders gets Scorpions up fast. A D-Bomb and Canister Shot will do some serious damage to them. As for the Covenant side, they can just make Jackals. They’re weak though but very effective against infantry units.

When you get it up, post a link  I’ll have a read and see if I can add anything to it.

if a team goes triple arby they’re either going to rush or lose in most cases, if all three focus on one base or even if one harasses another player, it doesnt matter how many “quick tanks” they can get out. the base will be dead before they have enough tanks to take them out because lets say the other two people go with quick tanks, thats three raging arbys on two tanks, if they wait to have 2 a piece their team mate will most likely be dead by then and two of the arbys will probably already have banshees and another will probably go Tech 2 Arby or Hunters.

If I saw three aribters, I’d expact a rush coming.

I always scout my opponents base/s just to see what they’re doing. Scouting in the first 30-60 seconds will give you a major advantage if they’re rushing you. If there are three Aribters rushing the one base, that can easily be defeated with the right units. It can be hard sometimes to defeat a banshee rush. But banshees are weak at the start to any Covenant power and marines to a fair amount of damage to them.

You also mentioned about “quick tanks” being useless against three raging Arbiters. I’ve said it and a few others, just throw a D-Bomb down and you’ll three running/dead Arbiters. If you’re fast enough to get Canister Shell, with just 3 or 4 tanks, you can defeat one, maybe two Arbiters, even if they’re raging.

Sorry if the text is too hard to read. I’ll change it if someone hates it :3

Any time you see a Covie, expect to be rushed. Its just to bad that when you stop the rush 9 times out of ten the players that rushed quit

Stop with the nonsense -Yoink- strats, #1 Halo Wars player here, I’m going to make a mega thread. Please bare with me, it will be an incredible read from the best players all over the globe.

EDIT: Expect a thread in around a month (yeah I know that’s a long time but I don’t have the information on my computer)
