I have a 2v2 tournament going on soon too actually. It starts on this Friday, and I’ll be giving out Amazon gift cards to the top three teams. If anyone wants to sign up, or look into the actual details, head over to GameFAQs or Spartan One Project, and it should be fairly easy to find one of my threads. I would post a link, but I don’t know the rules on advertising outside message boards. If it’s ok, I don’t mind posting a link. If anyone does actually want to sign up, just let me know about you and your partner by Thursday (free to enter!)
Hey, OP! I’d love to take part in this/help you organise it and stuff. I don’t care about the prize, Double Team’s played with people who wont play unless they’ve got host, and it’s getting pretty pathetic now.

I’m from the UK, and he’s from Italy. Me and him getting on at the same time isn’t any problem, but if we’re put up against Americans it could be. So, if you could, keep us away from Americans/people in opposite timezones for as long as you can =)
Edit: I think for this post you need to include more information. Things such as…
Games to play: How many matches does a team need to play/win the move on to the next round.
Winners/Losers brackets: If someone loses in round 1, is that it for them, or will they continue to play other people who lose in round 1.
Maps: Which maps do we have to play, or is it down to players to decide? Are Forge maps gonna be used, do we need DLC?
Host: How’s hosting going to work? Are we gonna switch host every win, loss or game?
Game type: Which game type are we playing, Infinity, CTF, Pro or Legendary BR’s?
Restrictions: Are we allowed to do anything we like, or are things such as Boltshot or Camo banned?

I’ll be posting another thread on those Halo 4 boards as soon as the brackets are finalized (just waiting on word from a few teams). I’ll be sending everyone that’s signed up, a message over XBL with a tiny URL link that will direct them straight to the final bracket thread. That information thread I listed above should answer any question you might have.
