hey everyone,
i was browsing through some of my stats on halo waypoint and when i was looking through all my weapon kills i noticed something was off with the brute plasma rifle image.
this is the image that shows up in the list of weapon kills:

then when you look at this image which was a screenshot from when 343i derped and released the plasma rifle variants:
you’ll notice the first image is actually the 2nd variation of the brute plasma rifle “Sorrow of teash”

i knew i wasnt crazy… i saw them at launch and was like oh im suprised that these werent in the notes, then the next day poof all gone, i remember the las tier saying brutes use it to bludgeon people or summit along those lines

Yup 343i derped and accidentally added them to the game, pretty much minutes later they were removed. I assume they will be added in the Hog Wild update.
More brute weapons!

Kind of sad that the second tier isn’t the classic blue with the CE ability to slow people down. Was really hoping for that.

I still have hope for that weapon to make an appearance. Aside from the Assault Rifle, THE most iconic halo weapon in the history of halo I’d say!

Standard practice, nearly everything released was probally finished before/around release date.
it will probably look like that plus it does look like the paint a covenant special would have

I think you are right but no one’s been busted yet so you might be wrong. I hope you are wrong so I can find more leaked content.
