Haven’t played in a year, dreaded the amount of updates that I knew I had to download. But I expected around 8 gigs, 10 max. But 28? I’m not the most tech savvy guy, but that seems so unreasonable. Can’t they optimize them better or something? Not all of us have unlimited usage internet >_>
There’s a lot of cool content you’re about to enjoy, Spartan.

Not playing in a year is like 7 different content updates, averaging around 4-5 GB, with a couple of maintenance updates on top.
They’re meant to pile up sooner or later.
For example, most of Battlefield 4’s larger map packs come out to like 30GB if downloaded all at once.
Good points

IKR, when I stopped playing around a few months ago, I found that Halo 5 took up about ~100 gigs. 100. Honestly, that’s completely unacceptable when the MCC was only ~65 gigs, and had all 5 games installed. (Including ODST.) Heck, Overwatch, TMCC, Rocket League, and Halo Reach with all DLC combined take up less space than that.
It’s the new Mark V helmet. It’s so lit it’s like 18 gigs on its own.

Not wrong
343i also doesn’t compress any of the content’s files so it is easier for them to implement new content.
