$25 for the Reach Hazop set? Are you serious?

Everyone who plays this is still buying the campaign and they could have easily kept it together with the campaign that they are still charging $60 FOR! “Its free to play” is not a good argument even in the slightest because they chose to put themselves in this situation and they are absolutely still making all the money by selling the campaign. The multiplayer marketing strategies are disgraceful, uncalled for and a slap in the face to all the fans and the Halo legacy.

DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM THE STORE

Let’s not complain with comments, but with our wallets. 343 won’t care if we create 10000k post about this if people is still falling for that. (I’m not saying we should talk about this and other problems like emblems/coatings)

As long as people buy the stuff, they will keep rolling with it. And as there are no better fps out there, the whales will be stuck here

If people don’t try to change things there will never be any change. The more people who talk about this, the more signalboosting there is to discourage executives (not developers) to dial back on the microtransactions the better. Coming in here on your white horse is counter-intuitive. The prices MUST come down. Because if people start buying this nonsense for 25 quid… Next year, it’ll be 30 per bundle, the year after it 35, etc, etc. The norm will slowly grow out of control. We need to dial this in while we can and at every opportunity.

Thanks. I’m being paid to promote monetization on forums across the internet.

This is my only issue with the criticisms is people saying this causes the game significant harm. They’re optional cosmetics at the end of the day. Doesn’t affect the gameplay in any way, sure a small percentage of players will be upset, but in the grand scheme of things it won’t affect it’s life span.

You can’t even say these kind of statistics without some sort of proof. My experience, every game I play there are at least 4 people in the match who have bought stuff in the store. I don’t think it’s 1 out of 100 people spending money on this game

same. i bought the BP but after 3 days i could tell this one would not be getting anymore money, used MS rewards points on the anubis set and some other coatings and forgot about the customization entirely. MS can pay for their own overpriced garbage for all i care…

If you’ve worked in any business environment, you would know executives only want to make their shareholders happy. If your solution is to slash the prices in half, how many armors would you still end up buying? even if the Hazop set cost $5, it’s still feels like a waste of money for me. Some people are content with spending $20 on these things, it’s up to you as the consumer to decide what you spend your money on. Nobody is forcing you to buy these things, it’s not like Halo 5 where you had a pay to win mechanic with these lootboxes.

Coming in here on your white horse is counter-intuitive.

My horse is dark brown with a few stripes on it’s back

I bought the store’s advanced pass bundle and a set of legendary armor on the day when the multiplayer game was released. Yes, it’s just because I’m very excited that the halo was finally released. Everyone’s fun is different. I like to dress up my Sparta, but you’re not like that. You say you don’t like cosmetics, So you don’t have to reply to the players who like the decoration in the game. You just need to play your game happily instead of coming to the forum to fight.

I will not stop buying just because of one piece of armor. If there are more beautiful armor and interesting decorations, I will always buy these things, just like putting clothes in the wardrobe. My armor will change because of my preference. Do you know what I mean

I agree completely, HAZOP is my favorite helmet from Reach, but I’m not paying 25 bucks for it.

Everyone’s fun is different. I’m not the kind of guy to care so much about cosmetics but if you are all power to you.

Nah I actually enjoy cosmetics as much as the next person. I’m really enjoying the detail of customization and I’m looking forward to completing the battle pass. I almost bought the Pineapple grenades chest piece because it looked so cool (had to talk myself out of it). I just don’t think the future of the game depends on it. Can it be improved? Sure.

I agree with you dude. Don’t read to much into my posts. Words can come across any way you make them out to be, but you’re not able to read the emotions and body language over a few lines of text.

My friend spent $200 to buy in-game items in the early stage of the game release. I asked him if you don’t think it’s expensive. He said he thinks it’s very expensive, but let me do the feedback. He chose not to make a sound. It is precisely because many people regard themselves as ostriches and bury their heads in the sand, which has become a silent majority, so many things in history have become worse.

This post could very well be copy-pasted from 2016-2017 regarding the usage of lootboxes.

This is the type of thing that makes me want to drop Infinite entirely once I get full GS. Seriously felt like 343i have learnt nothing from Halo 5 backlash.

Listen, man, I’m here to feed back our own views on the game. I used to turn to customer service feedback and put forward performance problems and suggestions that can be optimized. They asked me to write a post. I also posted a post. Perhaps because people speak easily, most suggestions and feedback are invisible. We need more people to pay attention to some problems and improve them, because this is my favorite game.
In the past, I said too much. I apologize,
Some posts are hidden by administrators, but these things can’t be done by you or me alone. We need everyone’s strength
Why do people think armor suits are expensive because they don’t stop collecting when they are satisfied with a armor. Most people will buy more armor. In addition, this armor is not sold to one person, but to all players playing the game. This industrial product does not even need to be copied and pasted. They just need to put it there

Lootboxes are a very predatory system that enables and encourages young kids (and some adults) to develop gambling addictions. Not only that, with most lootboxes in video games they included benefits that gave the player bonuses in game, essentially a pay to win mechanic. At least kn the store you know exactly what you’re buying.

It doesn’t effect “Gameplay” but it effects the overall experience of the product, which is what you’re ultimately paying for.

I don’t understand??

You are right about the booty box

My context is terrible dude bear with me

I enjoy cosmetics sure, I enjoy the freedom of choice other players have.

What I meant by I don’t care so much about cosmetics, I should have phrased it as
“I enjoy the options, but it’s not the main reason why I play this game”

My wording is terrible

What’s with this wall of text? lmao I had to use a translator here.

I’m glad even we can disagree on these things we can still get along. That’s what the community should be striving toward. I apologize as well if it seems like I come across aggressive, I can assure you that is not the case
