$25 for the Reach Hazop set? Are you serious?

Standard practice with battlepasses also allows you to earn what you spent back, to put towards the next battlepass.

Yeah I’m pretty sure what we are seeing is what they have envisioned. That doesn’t mean this isn’t still a test run. If they noticed nobody’s buying, then I’m sure we could see a change in the foreseeable future :robot:

Lmao. You work 12 hour shifts, have bills to pay, and your gripe is paying money for… video game cosmetics? Yikes!

Yes, my gripe is my relaxation hobby being negatively effected. All you can do is deflect and act like you have a point.

So has anyone else paid $60 for the game on release day and then getting told later that if you’re an game pass ultimate user you get the campaign for free, so i wasted $60 then correct? Or am I missing something?

If everyone who critiqued the pricing and such would get a permanent price reduction on all items both present and future, would you be okay with with not getting the price cut at all?

People all over the place are complaining about the cost of extra cosmetics

but are forgetting that multiplayer is completely free with base progression unlocks available for only $10

I just wish they would address this gross level of monetization. Anything. But they aren’t and that is really concerning.

Sorry to be the one to break it to you but not everyone’s money comes from their mom’s credit card who I’m sure also works hard to pay bills

Thats something you should have known years ago. It was never a secret that all first party game are free on release day for game pass

This kid literally doesn’t see an issue with a single set of armor, that isn’t even a new concept or design being one third the price of the ENTIRE campaign. What justifies that price point?

I completely agree and think the microtransactions in general should be made a lot cheaper. I find a lot of the things on offer are often quite bland/dull anyway and not enticing in the slightest but even still, the pricing on this is just plain rude. I get it’s F2P but surely millions should play this so even with cheaper items money should easily be made for 343 and MS. The fact that for the same price of one whole set, I could go on a date to the cinema and pay for both tickets and still have money left over for drinks or some treats, or even pay my electricity bill for a weeks worth of electricity to my home is just daylight robbery. I get they’re not the only games who charge inexplicable prices for micros too, but a lot of the stuff isn’t even worth it and looks so boring (especially when you can’t even combine things so still have to settle for ugly basic chest plates just to keep one little teddy bear on you). I do also think the option to buy individual items should be available too if you wanted something. Having everything in bundles and having to purchase an entire bundle for maybe just 1 or 2 specific things in it you would want is just not a reasonable ask. The store should just categorise each item (e.g Weapkn Charms, Nameplates etc) and just let you purchase individual items if you want one specific thing. Yes it is just for cosmetics, but it is still 100% a predatory system and nothing justifies those prices when you think of how big the total playerbase is too.

I find this view very problematic. If course they’re not going to change anything if everyone had your view on it that they’re not going to change it. Within the first week they made changes based on player feedback, so we should really be encouraging more people to post about it rather than being so defeatist and just saying they won’t change anything, because if enough do then maybe they will make changes potentially to pricing of items. We don’t know if we don’t try.

Riight.
It’s not like it’s the actual pricing of a bundle, or that the armor for sale isn’t actually a new design, but an old one being sold for a third of the original game it debuted in.

No one is forgetting that it’s free.
It’s the ridiculous pricing of the items.

On the topic of the Battlepass.
It was said the “first” Battlepass was free, and we got the classic two tier system. Where most items are on the premium side. It being free is a complete technicality and not clarified until we got the game in hands for all I know.
Lest we forget that it’s filled with boosts and swaps, to speed up progress time, and offer less items.

So, how’s the next BP going to look if it was a big deal that this first one was “free”?
10$ to get access to it?
10$ more to get a premium tier?
Is item distribution going to be the same?

Some people have started personal attacks, but I don’t want to say who it is,It’s ridiculous. For players and fans and a game that needs long-term operation, you talents are the real poison

I’d rather have halo worth $100 as a complete game than selling expensive armor for free

Man… now that you mention it, buy three armor sets and it’s the price of the campaign :scream:

What if you wanted to mix them bundles? If you bought a bundle for each armor option you’d be paying x6 minimally, not including color, wrist, and utility :exploding_head:

Maybe they SHOULD have a mixed bundle option when more armors come out

Quick reminder that you should use Microsoft Reward Ponits instead of real money to make any in game purchases (if you were going to in the first place.)

You can play the game for free and maybe buy cosmetics if you want to be pretty, nothing crazy about it.
I never thought I’d be defending 343
