Believe it or not, a lot of people like Hazop. I was shocked too.
To be fair none of the new spartan armor stuff in there is either. Hazop has far more to do with Reach.
Not really sure what this means without some more context.
But “heroes of reach” is the title of this season.
The only Spartan I recall that wears Hazop is the nameless red one about the shlacked by a Grav Hammer wielding blue Elite in a promo art still for Multiplayer.
And I’m sure a lot of people liked JFO, and Security, and Pilot which will most likely also see the same backlash.
I dunno in all honesty, I looked for a number and couldn’t find one. If you have a link I’ll gladly look it up.
Regardless of this I don’t buy the “copies sold” approach due to the fact population numbers have never even come close to the peak unit numbers. Halo 3 hit a population size of 1.1mil, but had a well over 3.1mil copies sold by the beginning of 2008.
Spartan 4 armor colors and parts are scattered among the reach stuff of the battle pass. Meanwhile you can’t get curtain hero’s of reach armor parts still unless you use a kit. In other words things that existed during reach timeline and game are left out while spartan 4 stuff that wouldn’t exist until ages after Reach are in the pass. Also color coatings that had nothing to do with Reach.
That is a fair point, it is kind of a wonky smattering of cosmetics and lack there of. To be honest, I personally didn’t really know what to expect from the BP, and the overall selection of the “heroes” could’ve been far more sparse if we’re being honest.
But it still doesn’t justify Hazop being in the BP.
Just wait when they recycle these items in a new battlepass.
Interesting to think about, very unfortunate these numbers are so hard to find now. I mean I just googled it and its burried in thousands of pages paraphrasing similar numbers. Wish this information was more transparent and granulated.
Yeah, because Halo will be dead (Again) in a couple of months.
Sure thing bud. People said the game would die on day 1. 3 months later they’ll just say the game is popular because it’s FTP. Take your negativity elsewhere
What justifies it in the store for $30?
$20 my guy, it’s a bit overpriced as it is without having to dishonestly inflate the price.
Well if you can’t acquire it in the BP and players want it, then that’s why it’s in the store.
30$ you need to buy the Battle-pass to have the Reach armor core. You need the Reach armor core to equip Hazop. Battle-pass + Armor set = $30
Regardless of the hoops to jump through to equip it, Hazop itself is $20.
That’s where I’m leaving it
That…
that’s some hoop jumping yourself!
Okie dokie, this is what I get for responding to strawman arguments I suppose.
Hazop is listed for $20 regardless of prerequisite costs in order to equip it. Halo Infinite is free/$60, does that mean it factors in the price of your PC/console to buy it?
Are you going to respond to the point or gloat?
Holds up box with PRODUCT inside
“Product is $20”
“Ah yes my good man I do enjoy PRODUCT so here, is $20!”
…
…
“Can I use PRODUCT now please?”
“No, you must buy PRODUCT BOX OPENER to open box for $10”
but it’s a very nice box opener that spits out different products at varying intervals, just not THIS product, even though its a product from REACH. Did we mention this is the REACH edition of the product box opener?
So back to the point you’re trying to avoid, if Hazop is not acquired through the BP, yet players want Hazop, how else should Hazop be acquired if not through the store?
It’s not a special type of armor anymore so than the rest of the Reach offerings, so that rules out special events.
How else would players acquire it?
I always thought it should be acquired thru the BP. BP is a wasteland.
