Hello all,
During my Thanksgiving Break from college I like playing Halo to relax. Recently the game has been progressively banning my account for no reason. Whenever a game finishes I wait for the next one to get set up. I do not quit out of games.
Could it be possible the game thinks I am quitting? Is there a way to look up the stats so I can troubleshoot this? Is there a way I can pay 343 more money so that I never get banned again? Just kidding on that last one…but seriously.
I really like the new patch, but there has to be a better algorithm for banning players for quitting. In one instance I got banned because another player’s internet connection automatically caused the game to quit to the main menu. But that’s not really quitting…that’s internet trouble. Why would I get banned for someone else’s laggy connection?
I dunno. Now I have to wait a whole day to play but I didn’t do anything wrong. I really wish there was an option to petition a ban, or better yet, make banning less restrictive.
