Well I finally pulled it off. I’ve been trying to crack the 200 kill mark in firefight, but always topped out around 180 kills. I finally had the perfect round for getting past it and got 228 kills with zero deaths in one round!
It takes a little luck depending on what objectives you get, but mine were as follows:
Round 1 - kill crawlers. I got off to a fast start head shotting like crazy and killed like 35 in the 1st round.
Round 2 - defend armory. I took out a ghost and went on a splatter fest and closed in on 80 kills before the round ended.
Round 3 - Kill hunters. I was already at req level 7 and realized this might be my chance for 200 kills so I pulled a phaeton (something I usually wouldn’t do in heroic firefight) and just cleaned up more and more AI.
Round 4 - Defend fortress. Perfect! My req was charged back up so I put a damage boost on my phaeton and just swept back and forth around the fortress cleaning up group after group of AI before they ever had a chance to even get near the fortress.
Round 5 - Kill covenant AI, the elites, then the 4 mythic hunters. I put another damage boost on the phaeton and cleaned everything up outside, then got aggressive as hell in the core area above the hunters sweeping up every AI around them.
A little bit of this was just being lucky with objectives, but it was still fun to finally go off that hard in one round of firefight. So how many others have cracked the 200 kill mark and if so how high did you get? Next I want the 250 kill game, I don’t think 300 is possible unless your teammates let you kill everything. lol

278 kills? Damn, that’s WAY up there! I want to see a 300 kill game, even if I’m not the one to pull it off. lol
The highest I have personally witnessed is 245 and I just can’t envision a way for there to be enough AI to kill to hit 300. Maybe on Legendary? I’m going to keep trying, that’s for sure.

Ha! Yeah, it’s crazy how much more damage it does with banshee bombs or phaetons when you put a damage boost on them. Got the req, might as well use it!
The only thing is, when you put your damage boost on, make SURE you go to the core far away from randoms if you’re not playing on a team or they will flat out steal your vehicle 9 out of 10 times. It sucks. lol

This is why
If you see one following you if your’e heading back to base with a rare vehicle, then don’t bother going for the boost or swapping into Wheelman if you haven’t already: They’re following you to see if you’ll drop your vehicle more often than not.
Coupling boosts with rare weapons/vehicles is best done in a team where you know they won’t take it from you, or where a mate can call the weapon while you call the boosts.

Exactly, it’s kind of ridiculous how many times I’ve had someone run to me from across the map as fast as they can to try and steal a vehicle when I go to put a damage boost on it. It’s funny, but annoying.

Yeah but others achieve the objective so fast that not that many enemies will spawn

The best ones are defend ones. (bases) it normally lasts a whole round and if u have good reqs, it’s a farm fest.
