When I was on waypoint opening REQ packs to get all the new stuff I noticed that I had 222/224 Helmets (minus one for the Achilles helmet) but the other one was an Ultra Rare helmet which seemed to be a variant of the Protector helmet. I forget the name but it wasn’t called Protector but it was a different skinned version of it. I now just looked at my unlocks and it is gone. I’m at 223/223 for Armor and the usual 222/223 for Helmets. There was armor which was Ultra Rare as well as the helmet that just disappeared…what’s up with this? I opened another 2 gold packs to make sure I didn’t miss it but they gave me REQ cards…sooo can anyone explain this? I swear it was there even after refreshing a few times and I vividly remember it being a Protector helmet and armor. I regret not screenshot ting it :(. It had a colored angled pinstripe on the sides on the cheeks. What could this be? Hidden armor? It looked cool though.
It was most likely the Challenger(?) armor set (HCS Protector reskin). It was in the Xbox store for free with an emblem during the HCS finals. I don’t watch Esports, but I did for that.

I don’t know then, sorry. I’m only missing the Champion and Achilles sets, no extra Protector reskins.
I’ll be missing Achilles for years but I have mk 4 armor and scout helmet so I don’t mind.
I noticed the new variant as well, it’s probably going to be added in a future update.
Does 343 have their own special armor set?
Do you guys have any screenshots of this? The only Protector variant of which I know is the Challenger armor set, which isn’t available anymore.
I was going to screenshot it but I just figured that everyone could see it and that it would be unlocked through a special event or something.

That set was called Protector Stalwart…i saw it once,but,it’s gone.

I saw a placeholder for it on waypoint yesterday, but by the time I got home and updated it had been removed.

I’ve seen this two and when the game was taki,g a long time to load I had a helmet with no picture called Badcmnames helmet 298000

I just take all helmets (just Achilles left)

I bet its an armor set that comes with the legendary crate. Its been showing up since they announced it

Good idea there… That seems likely as I’ve only seen this glitch happen since the crate announcement.
