2018 is looking great for Xbox

Personally I kind of found 2017 to be a little lackluster for the Xbox. Besides HW2 which I bought but still didn’t play yet( blame other games for that) and Destiny 2 and PUBG which I’ll get soon to me it was lackluster. 2018 though is looking awesome. Less then 2 months from now we have SOT coming out on March 20th. Right around that time we have the beta for the MCC and the eventual finalized version of MCC later this year. Throw in RDR 2, 2 Destiny Two Expansions, Crackdown 3 and the possible Halo 6( please take your time on this 343 don’t rush it out if we are a year off that’s ok) plus the news of a new Fable, Perfect Dark and Mech Assualt 3. It’s looking like a great time for Xbox users. Phil has really stepped up his game as Xbox head. It just took time which is understandable as game development has gotten longer and longer with technology getting more advanced.

Personally I don’t ever plan to use my Xbox for anything besides Halo, but good for it, I guess. Also I agree 343 should take as much time as they need to make Halo 6.

Yeah, 2017 was pretty rough. Xbox One’s first e3 really hurt its chances in pretty much everywhere in the world except North America.
But I’m excited to find out what 2018 will show. And I’m super excited for Perfect Dark!!

The Fable and Perfect Dark rumors imply development only began this year. They probably won’t be coming out until 2019 or even 2020.

But it this year already has more AAA exclusives one Xbox One than 2017 had, in fact last year had only Halo Wars and Forza (and Recore I guess?) the rest were all indie. Sadly, Playstation just has it all, you know? SpiderMan, LoU 2, Days Gone, God of War, Detroit and a potential Spyro remaster?!? To me it’s hardly a competition. PS still has all the exclusives and all Xbox has is prettier graphics and multiplayer games which I really can’t play.
Team Blue really is winning me over here and as a life long Microsoft Fanboy, I don’t like it.

As a person who purchased destiny 2,I would say save your money if you haven’t bought it yet

I personally disagree. Besides a more powerful console (which I probably won’t buy), what xbox exclusives are coming out in 2018 that actually excite us? The only game I can think of is Ori and the Will of the Wisps. Until I start seeing a line up of truly awesome exclusives, I would hesitate to say the next year is looking good.

I played Rare Replay version of Perfect Dark and I’m really hyped to see what the future holds for the next game.

Xbox needs to stop focusing on the stuff people really don’t care about like “play anywhere” or “worlds most powerful console” and start shifting all their focus to making good exclusives.
