Anyone else think Halo 3 Anniversary is a possibility for 2017 holiday season as a break between Halo 5 and 6?

Halo 3 was perfect in my opinion, I don’t know if I want 343 touching that.
Considering what TMCC collection turned out like, I both doubt it will happen and mostly don’t think it should. Not to mention that since it is already included in TMCC, a lot of people would see it as milking the cash cow.

Just from what I remember reading on a few forums (mostly here), They’re no longer planning the series in trilogies. I think MS has a “30 year plan” for the Halo series, with 3 year intervals between releases. Of course, I don’t remember seeing any official announcements or links to reliable sources on that plan, so it could be just speculation.
Halo 3 was a good game and a huge multiplayer success. Personally that was the first multiplayer experience i had and the reason i am playing Halo 5 today

Anyways what I have to say is that I really hope they do make a Halo 3 anniversary, although I like the new modern 343halo games, I like the older ones a bit better. It seems like the only way we will get new Halo games that play like the old ones would be whenever they remake one. So for that reason alone I cannot wait for a Halo 3 Anniversary.

They made Halo 2 better, so I’m all for a Halo 3 remaster.

30-year plan? The series will die if Halo 6 is another disappointment

Yeah I’m hoping for Halo 3 anniversary. They did Halo 1 anniversary, halo 2 anniversary, so it only makes sense they’d do a halo 3 anniversary since it’s the last game in the original trilogy. I’m just wondering if halo reach will get the same treatment.
I really hope it happens as a stand alone game. I’m tired of 343i style Halo and they -Yoinked!- up the MCC so bad it has no population.
