I think we have gathered enough information to confirm where that desert in the 2013 trailer is. After seeing gameplay of the H5 multiplayer map “The Rig” and the description of it, its become obvious. For those who don’t know, The Rig takes place on Meridian after its destruction done by the Guardian. If you look at the maps background, it shows a desert, much like the one seen in the trailer. My guess? Chief either wakes up or goes to Meridian after the Guardian destroys it for whatever reason, looking for it. I guess the true power of a Guardian is much like glassing a planet, or perhaps worse. What do you guys think?
