20 Wraith turret kills challenge unattainable

Some of these challenges really make me wonder what the creator was thinking. I am grateful that we can get some of the challenges done with bots, I want to say that first of all. Great move there.

BUT

Challenges like getting 20 Wraith turret kills are just not possible. In 20h of play so far I have seen a single Wraith from afar. It’s like an ultra-rare Pokemon as of now. Challenge swaps are also not a solution but a band-aid at best. I thought with the latest “progress adjustments” the more terrible challenges were purged? 343, you forgot some. I love the game, it is amazing but some of these seemingly little design choices hurt it a lot.

I agree, I have only seen and used the wraith once in my entire time of playing so far, both in the same instance. its far too difficult to find in the first place, even moreso to get kills with it

I actually forgot the wraith was even in this game jesus. I saw it like on launch day and ever since then its just been gungooses and ghosts. I miss how older Halos had at least one tank on each side as a consistent spawn. I also thought they pruned those very specific challenges but guess not. 343 pls.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who got this. Imagine my utter confusion when it gets announced that the progression system was fixed to be less specific and more general, and then my deck tells me to get 20 kills with the rarest vehicle in the game.

It’s honesty really dumb. I myself went from having two of the borked weapon kill challenges, one for the Pulse Carbine and the one for the Cindershot, to getting the Kill 20 players with the Wraith Cannon. Absolutely ridiculous with the rate at which tanks spawn atm.

Haha very relatable topic. I went from 5 kills with the disruptor to swapping to 20 with the wraith to trying to get 10 with the cindershot (which is a weapon I like but hard to find).

Yesterday I figured it was smart to use an XP boost since I had a “one kill with the ravager” challenge for easy bonus exp. In 60 minutes not a single map with a ravager (it rotates in sets per match with the hydra and was the hydra every time :confused: )
