$20 for an armor set is not ridiculous

IMO the campaign isnt even worth $69

Disagree. I’m having an absolute blast in campaign. Definitely the best one 343 has produced so far

20$ for a single armor set is ridiculous. That’s 1/3 the price of a full game. What justifies it’s price? What makes all the modeling, rendering, rigging in the campaign worth so little in comparison to a single armor piece? Nothing. There is no real reason for the price to be so laughably high. This is equivalent to the markup razor blades receive which is 1000% for a small piece of sharpened low quality metal.

if the legendary visor was like what $10-15 but like $3-5 i would have bought it right away

It’s good, but it could be better. Look at other $60 campaign only releases and you’ll see they are a much better value for the money. I mean this game doesn’t even compare to say Jedi Fallen Order or Horizon Zero Dawn, both of which were $60 single player only with hella more content. I loved the Infinite campaign, don’t get me wrong, but it left me with so many unanswered questions, and not necessarily in a good way, they should have been answered or atleast mentioned in the story.

So say you have only 60 dollars to spend on a geme EVER IN YOUr life and you absolutely want to play halo infiite you can choose between 3 packs in halo multi or campaign and not both because your a kid and your parents will give you no more money because they are poor. IS IT NOT RIDICULOUS NOW!?!

If you ask me the campaign isnt worth it. $60 for something youre gonna put like 20/30 hrs into. Alot of the people such as myself are putting like 20 hrs a week into this game and are getting more than our moneys worth for supporting the devs when we choose.

Edit: I’ve played a handful of f2p games and always try to base how much I spend on how much I’ve played. Like I dont just go in and blow $100 on a game I’ve put 10 hrs into. Honestly none of the prices make sense in any f2p games

We’ll have to see how they handle campaign DLC. Is it going to be free? How much is it going to cost? That will decide how valuable the $60 campaign was.

Ehh, in the endgame yes. But for what it has now compared to other games un the genre, it is lacking. I’m hoping the expansions will be $20-40, but they better have a bunch of stuff to justify the price. Like a new biome maybe, something this game is desperately missing. Though I’d prefer them to be free with how overpriced the store currently is.

I think it still kinda is. You need to realize that a lot of us have been playing Halo for 15 or 20 years. We are not used to this F2P model Infinite is trying to pull. We used to have a lot more freedom in previous games.
A lot of us are also disappointed by the fact 343 marketed all this as “allowing players to express themselves like never before” a year ago. So where is our player expression? I do not see it.

All I want to do is to color my Spartan pink and have my MCC emblem as well. But I cannot even do that…

Here’s a WILD idea, what if all armors were unlockable via achievements, weekly challenges, and battlepass. And the store can be for the little stuff like charms or emblems or camo patterns (notice how I didn’t say coatings). And then the cherry on top would be letting the players choose all their own colors, and 343 could instead sell us camo patterns and textures. We get control of colors, but think of how many different patterns of camo there could be and how many textures such as metallic, gloss, matte, dirty, scratched, etc etc etc.

You’re free to feel that way, but personally I don’t judge what something is worth purely on how long I’ll use it. At least, not exclusively. I mean, how much would you spend on an album relative to how much you’d spend on a concert ticket? Which one you gonna use longer? How much would you spend on going to the movies vs buying a movie? Which one would you spend more on? Maybe these examples aren’t applicable to you, but I think they highlight a point. And the story, experience, world, and fun that Infinites campaign offers are worth more than some single player games I’ve played twice as long. But what something is worth is ultimately subjective. I personally think the campaign is worth it, and think that $20 for some armor is not. But feel free to disagree.

If you worked for Microsoft they would fire you for talking like that, but dang it if it doesn’t get me excited.

I agree. I specifically remember Bonnie Ross coming out and saying “We have this exciting new thing called Armor Coats”. Or something along those line. She should have never said that

Lmao you’re totally right, and I’m going to keep suggesting it every chance I get because it would honestly be a win-win for us and 343i.

Pink you say, we can do that. Let me talk to the boys and girls at 343, they’ll get you hooked up. But it’s gonna cost you, $10 per core. How many cores you want it for?

If only there was a pink core to begin with… maybe its me, but I literally do not see it. I think a bunch of other colors are missing too. Yeah I am sad I can no longer look fabulous.

That is true if the campaign is a memorable experience. $60 is a good price. I’m not a big single player gamer so I always feel single player games are overpriced besides certain RPGs. I’m waiting for coop before I get it so I have no opinion on it yet but know if its like any other Halo campaign I won’t put more than 30 hours into it in the next 15 years

I don’t think there is either. I would wear one. I’d absolutely love purple with pink as a secondary, but I’d settle for any fabulous looking armor. Maybe one day we’ll look pretty, for $20.

Naw, I think 343 would make less money. So, not exactly a win for them in their eyes.
