I get it VAs need to be paid and you need your money back but 20 dollars for a single AI voice is beyond ridiculous. Hell the Voices of war pack from Halo 5 we got 4 voices for 10 dollars and they honestly have the same amount of lines as our new AI buddies. And no the emblem and little gun charm do not make up the difference. The store just needs to be shut down until you guys learn how to price things.

Unfortunately some players are too easy and will spend money on it. Its why 343I have no intention to stop doing it.
I say if you bought the actually game you should have full access to the multiplayer cosmetics after you unlock them.

We got people buying AIs for $20 in the store and all I want is an option to turn the AI voices off completely.

The prices are still too high for me. $10 is about as high as I would want to go to spend in the shop, and the item would need to be really cool.
I’m also a little disappointed the Mister Chief AI isn’t voiced by Nick Offerman. That probably would have made the item more tempting for me.

The only VA I would pay that for would be if they brought Nathan Fillion (Buck) back because that guy is entertaining as hell.

Not the point and no it isn’t. These prices are extremely predatory and dollar to value isnt there at all. When other games have better pricing in their shops you know something is wrong.

companies have gotten way too comfortable with charging so much. they really want us to believe a few skins and an AI pack is worth the price of a full game??

The sad thing is, what you guys are seeing now is only going to get worse.
The game is literally Barbone, yet the shop is at full force for a game that is not a (true f2p game like Warframe.)
On top of that the shop is going to get more attention then it should from this company using items as they have been as bait. Just wait and see how bad things will get when they start selling assassinations, when fire fight is released and other game mode to suck as much money off the player base as they can.
All in the name of “it’s a f2p game” when it actually is not. 343 is just another worthless money grabbing business that the title of being a “AAA gaming company” should be removed.

Yeah I’m not paying for this. The overpricing of everything in Infinite and locking player customization and expression behind a paywall was the point that sealed it for me. Then they had the balls to put the Hazop armor in the store for $20. And that’s when I went from frustrated to pissed off. This is outrageous and 343i will not be getting any money from me until things change.
I’m not, but they knew what they were doing hiring a psychological analyst to manipulate the player base…
Meaning they have creative control, and that is 100% on them.

It kind of is the only answer. I’m not saying people shouldn’t voice their criticisms and frustrations, but the sales revenue speaks way louder than a few hundred (or even a few thousand) players complaining on the internet.
