Actually im not totally against the ‘‘throwing knife’’ … Just name it something else, or be prepared to get flamed. Your ''Knife should have no auto-aim since it kills instant, or at least really fast. If you miss it shrinks away?

It would be like the human equivilent like it would have different damage and ways of using it.
And I agree the shard should have no auto-aim.

I think humans are the shooting type. I doubt scientists and engineers want to make melee weapons.

how is this not origional? It is a purple explosive -Yoink!- of glass that you throw. Almost as origional as the needler it’s self.

so, a crappy plasma grenade?
How would you use it? Would it be a toggle option along with grenades or what? Other ideas include just making it a needler like spike that you through that explodes on contact…
Great ideas! I like both of them. Perhaps the Spartan Saber can Allow the player to block but not lunge like the energy sword?
No throwing knives, but I like the sword idea.
But WHY would spartans be throwing things??? They can use grenades or weapons. There is no way they would use a throwing knife unless it was al they had…same with a crossbow

no because while the plasma grenade flies slowly in an ark, and falls down after a certain distance, this will have a much longer range and continue to fly strait, and will be much faster. But it will be very hard to aim, but hard to see while flying.

Throwing Shard I wouldn’t really be up for that but I don’t think it’d really work in that game…I don’t know
