First of all, I would like to confirm 343i’s claim that they stated before the game was released regarding the NOOB friendly system that was implanted in Regicide.
Regicide is one of the most bizarre NOOB friendly gametypes that I have ever seen in competitive gaming. The fact that a player that is going around -12 can beat the player that was the king most of the time and ended with a score of around +20, is just wrong.
Now I also realise that 343i probably chose this method because of their huge maps, so that the matches would be more fluent and fast.
Anyway, here are some changes that I recommend:
The king gets 20 points for every kill;
The king can’t get a buff in the middle of a gunfight.
I usually don’t play Regicide anyways, so it isn’t a problem for me. I decided a long time ago that too many grenade noobs and AR noobs want to play in that playlist.

My tests show that you can win a match on Haven without any effort, when using automatics.
I think that Regicide should have a larger scale to it, the same size as Big Team Infinity Slayer on mid sized maps, with a larger top score to win and a larger bounty for those who are King. 16 players all gunning for each other would not only create a ridiculous game play environment with many more opportunistic ways of destroying you enemies but also imagine what sort of videos you you could get on the theater
