2 split screen on HDTV question.

I don’t yet have a copy of halo 4, hence why im asking you nice people. :slight_smile:

When playing 2 player split-screen on an HDTV, do the black side bars show up? I remember in halo reach the entire screen wasn’t being filled in, and im genuinely hoping that this is not the case with halo 4.

Anyways, i know its a weird question, its just something that bugged me and if anyone can clear this up for me id be grateful.

I played split screen with a friend and no black bars showed up, however the game played noticeably slower.

yes the black bars on the sides show up still

hmm, one person is saying yes and the other no… any ideas? are you sure both of you are playing on HDTV’s?

This happend when me and my brother tryed to play split screen, how i got rid of it was go to the dashboard go to settings then pick display then swhich it display from widescreen to normal got rid of the black bars down down the side for me, hope it helps ^^
