Can we rank the frequency preferences of quick play. Maybe I don’t know what I’m doing, but I’m trying to complete the weekly challenge with little time left and I keep getting stuck on Slayer matches when I need Strongholds. And I don’t wanna abandon games for that. Also, we lost an Oddball 4 players on 3 after someone dropped. I’m wondering if they’re trying to get to their challenge preferred arena too

Annnnd. It’d be a nice little thing if we got 5 points towards the battlepass per doublekill, perfect, harpoon, etc in matches, or some little perk.

The game is designed to make you want to buy challenge swaps. Some would even call it, giga cringe

Preferences is a great idea but it is also a death sentence for the more niche modes that people may like. So I’m torn whether they are a good idea.

I would love to be able to play more CTF in Strongholds. Realistically I’d turn Slayer off all together. I’ve had 15+ years of Slayer. I find objective much more exciting now.

The fact that there’s a team slayer but no team objective but quick play still exists just makes me think they just want to sell challenge swaps

Take quick play out and add team objective if they have technical limitations right now. No brainer

I’m in that realm too. Back in the Halo 2-3 days I played Slayer almost exclusively. These days I see the beauty in a quickplay playlist. It’s like ordering the sampler at a restaurant; you get a little of everything.

I think I would have gotten into it sooner but the objective offerings in H3 were mixed at best, lot of AR starts, weird maps and gametypes to put up with. Really put me off the playlist.

Same reason I don’t like playing Quickplay really, don’t want to suffer through TS or One Flag on Launch Site, or AR starts on Behemoth.

I prefer the objective games myself. I honestly do enjoy the sampler of quick play, just wish I could adjust it to be balanced more to the games I want to play most, especially since I can’t outright choose those. Besides, there’s already a few variants of slayer you can jump in to anytime, without quick play chances

I didn’t really mind AR starts in halo 3 because there was so many BR and carbine spawns. And if you were attacking someone near their spawn before they got a weapon it was a lot easier to get map control for me. So in a way, sometimes I prefer AR start
