2 Reasons why flinch is wrong.

  1. While I abhor that halo has become a who shot first game, in many situations, flinching can turn it into a who shot second game between players of equal skill. Imagine a scenerio where to ppl have eyes on eachother across a big map. one player however, became aware of the other first, zooms and takes the shot. The other player, unzoomed, takes the hit, zooms, headshots and flinches his opponent and can trigger spam 2 shots freely.

Ofc, b4 you say player one should get better, we are imagining a situation where both players are of equal skill, so we can think about balance.

  1. Flinch rewards players who play at, and are comfortable with, a higher look sensitivity. They can realign their shots more quickly. While playing with a higher sensitivity has always been an advantage, it bestowed micro benefits at best. Never something so glaring as this.

Descope had none of these problems!

Flinch has no place in halo.

We already have BR bullet spread, and DMR bloom. Why do we need scope flinch too? I don’t get it.
