I know that we won’t be getting 4 player splitscreen for Halo 5, but I thought that we would at least be getting 2 player splitscreen???
Even Josh Holmes confirmed that we would at least be getting 2 player split screen and now they change their minds. What if i want to invite a friend over and play the campaign, or play multiplayer together? I guess the only way will be to let him play on my account? Well that sucks,so that means ruining my stats and everything too other than the fact that we won’t be able to play together in any kind of form whatsoever,since he can’t buy an xbox for himself.

AT LEAST LET US USE 2 PLAYER SPLIT SCREEN IN MULTIPLAYER, I would want 4 player splitscreen, but i could understand not having that because of the 1080p/60FPS requirements, but come on, not even 2? Lame…

I think 2p split screen is allowed in Mutliplayer but no Campaign.

There is already a thread here regarding splitscreen. You’re better off posting as this will be locked by the mods but 2 player splitscreen is in MP I think

Nope. There’s no split screen at all. Any mode, any time.

I just want to know wether 2 player s/c will be supported, because as it seems right now,everyone has their own versions of it,and its pretty annoying and causing a confusion,so i just want this cleared up

It’s official, there’s no split screen at all in Halo 5:

Wow that sucks -.- I was okay not being able to play 2 player splitscreen (in the beta) but i had my hopes up since they said that the final product will support it, but it turns out it wont…

Actually my thread is kinda different,since all im asking for is at least 2 player splitscreen. Also kinda showing how much 343 is contradicting themselves with their own statements. Which in my books is even worse, to promise something and not deliver.

Please use the thread linked in the first quote. We’ve had a lot of discussion and many threads created on the subject, so we trying to keep discussion consolidated to a minimal amount of threads.

As far as I know, 2 player split screen is still supported in matchmaking. Try not to read too deeply into, and assign interpretations, to the latest tweet. Saying that full screen is supported is not the same thing as saying something else is not. Thanks.
