Buff it or make it a loadout weapon (speaking mostly for Warzone)
BTB it’s quite balanced. Most annoying bit about it is that when you’re being shot by it the bullets are blinding because you can’t see past it’s trajectory stream. I used to complain about carbines until I started using them and kicking -Yoink-.
I think that the carbine is in a good place, but maybe if they add some variants it could be more of a killer.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they add 2 more variants to Warzone, like they did with the light rifle, in upcoming DLC.
I would love it to be a loadout weapon in Warzone…things a beast in the right hands.
For me at least its seems to be weaker than anything. I can never get kills with it.

I think for me its not wanting to waste shots with it, know I can’t refill the ammo without burning another req card.
Carbine is amazing. Doesnt need a buff. Buuuut I wouldnt mind a drop in req requirements for it
Carbine is in a good spot. But what OP is saying is that for Warzone in particular, it’s REQ cost is too high for a weapon that is essentially on par with a BR. I can agree with this, I’d rather spend my REQ on a heavy hitting weapon, and just grind out my Carbine kills in BTB.

Storm rifle, suppressor, Light rifle didn’t either until the BTB update.

That’s because your accuracy is horrendous. Maybe try lowering your sensitivity and actually following your target with your eyes.
As for the OP, they can buff it in Warzone I could care less that game type sucks. But, they better keep that to just Warzone. The gun in the right hands now is almost unstoppable in Arena.
Just drop the REQ points costs. No need for a buff, and really (I think) it’s too powerful to be a loadout weapon.

I’d like the req to be at least 3 to truly make the point that it’s on par with the BR, I don’t remember it being a problem for a loadout weapon in Halo 4 either.
