1.Not Some Recruit Anymore:Rank up your Spartan-IV to SR-5.
2.Movin’ on Up:Rank up your Spartan-IV to SR-20.
It seems like theres a number raising,from 5 to 20 or even higher,maybe 50?
And I guess SR means Spartan Rank.But as we know from several videos and pictures theres also the rank “Inheritor” from Reach.
Now 343 said that the system in H4 wont work like H3s or Reachs system.
But this SR-5 and SR-20 makes me think of the 1-50 system,any ideas of how it could work?
Or do we have any information about that,i dont even know about?
I think its gonna work like this: 1-50 rank based on trueskill(maybe only visible for yourself?) and reach ranks based on Spartan Points.If its gonna work somehow similar to the 1-50 system i gonna love 343 and play the sh** out of halo 4

Yes many games have 50 levels but to level up, all you have to do is earn points. Anyone can reach the max level, it just takes time.
The 1-50 system from Halo 2 and 3 are skill based ranks, more or less. The only way to level up is to win. And if you lose too much, you will be de-ranked. The system allows people of similar skill to play with each other so most matches are fair.
Most other games just put anyone with anyone, regardless of skill.
SR probably stands for “Spartan Recruit” as the achievement name would suggest.
You probably rank 1-20 or 1-50 and then re-enlist and then you are probably at something like SS(Spartan Soldier) rank then others like SH(Spartan Hero) SL (Spartan Leader) etc…
Just what I think it’ll be.
I don’t think the number will actually be skill based as the rank offers a CoD prestige style system. (at least I think it does… 343 is pretty cunfusing if you ask me…)

Actually a 1-50 has been confirmed, but it is a hidden rank (only you can see your rank)

That isn’t true. 343i just said that we have an invisible ranking system, not an invisible 1-50 ranking system.

we’ll most likely hear about it closer to release. That’l have all the I want rank 1-50 players right boiled up when they are re-confirmed that there will be a 1-50…just not like halo 3’s

I think so as well. They will most likely reveal it close to release.
Unless they have an explanation of the ranking system in-game, I don’t think many new players or most casual players wouldn’t understand how it works.
