2 Disk Question

As many of you know Halo 4 is being shipped with 2 Disks, one which only has to be placed in once, to download the multiplayer and the jist. However I’m probably going to be extremely eager to play the game once I get it and not want to sit through an 8GB download.

So my question is, will I still be able to play multiplayer and everything before I download the 8GB on my harddrive?

Nope, disc two is an install disc only, you can’t play multiplayer off it.

Once disc two is installed, everything runs from disc one.

Ok so I have to install disc 2 before playing disk one?

If you want to play Multiplayer, yes.

If you just start off disc one without installing disc two, you’ll get load failures if you try to access War Games, Spartan Ops & Forge.

It takes 5 minutes, if that.

It’s roughly a 10 minute install, so it’s not a painstakingly long wait.

Just install it all straight away, then you don’t have to worry about it again.
I mean, you’ve been waiting this long to play it already, what’s another 20 mins or whatever?

But opening a beer only takes a few seconds! What will I do after that?!!??!

It doesn’t seem like it will take long, OP. A few more minutes shouldn’t kill you.
