2 different sensitivities

In Halo 5 we should have 2 different sensitivities.

Scope in sensitivity and normal sensitivity.

I have felt that the scope-in sensitivity has been a bit too fast/slow across the games (this could just be my sensitivity). Though this would be a small mechanic it could be helpful.

I never noticed anything I would change between the two, but why not?

Personally I would want faster “Scope-in” sensitivity, than “Normal” sensitivity. The reason is that if you play on 3 or 4 normal sens the scale of the zoom is made so that you cannot catch up to a person if you zoom in. The speed of the zoom is often not faster than the person on 3 or 4 sens. That’s why a higher sens is usually better for “zoom in” weapons, like the sniper for example.

Another combo I would like to test is 4 normal sens and 2 zoom in sens - It could prove be a good combo as well.

It gives us more preference options, which I like to think is a good thing.

I’d support its addition. No downside

I don’t see very much wrong with it. It’s always good to allow player preferences.

Yes, I would personally love to have 4 normal sensitivity, and 2 or maybe 6 scope in sensitivity - Gotta figure out what works best.

I would really, really like this. Definitely yes.

Same as above.

And give sensitivity 2 adjustable parameters: max and mid. Right now, you can only adjust the max. I want a second point - the midpoint for stick travel. Sensitivity would go linearly from wherever the max is set to wherever the mid is set, and then from the mid down to zero. That way, I can have a high max but low mid. Also, I want to be able to adjust my vertical sensitivity . . . so a parameter to adjust vertical as a percentage of horizontal.

So, for me, perfection for sensitivity adjustment equals:

  1. HORIZONTAL UNSCOPED SENSITIVITY: Set max and mid.
  2. HORIZONTAL SCOPED SENSITIVITY: Set max and mid.
  3. VERTICAL SENSITIVITY: Set as a percentage of horizontal.

There can be some typical presets for those not wishing to mess with tons of settings.

I also want to be able to map my own controller layout.
