2 bucks for 3 AI colors is solid

I’m always calling out Pepsi man one-shot

I’m kind of curious if they’re going over all the bundles in this game now. Last 4 to 8 daily bundles have been like 3 or 4 different ones that have come back a few weeks later. This Battle Rifle skin was a few days ago, the goblin coat and visor and I forget what the other one or two sets were. It’s like they’re rotating between a few till they repurpose other bundles together to new prices or splitting things up…

I’d also still say this bundle, if they want to make it even better. Would be to allow us to pick the AI colors specifically when picking three. More so since this is an item you’re probably only going to ever use one color, since you cannot use all three at once for obvious reason. You’ll only get the real value out of this if you plan on swapping out colors from time to time to keep the game fresh. But regardless, it’s still only $2 dollars yeah? So even then it’s not all that bad IMO.

Its basically Buy 1 get 2 free!

Thats a solid steal in my opinion, but then again, Im fine with the color scheme I have for Armor Cores and Personally AI’s, So me no buy the $2-$3 dollar bundle ; but thats a good price lol and headed the right direction for 343 Industries.

I call it, “ Kick the man in the Pepsi can “

Ooh - you should reply to the person that asked this question, they seem keen to know the answer!

I’m still waiting for the answer to the question that you quoted.

Here you go, this person is very helpful and answers your question a lot:

Please keep this thread on-topic. The OP seems to think that colors have monetary value when in fact they are useless and will not impact his gameplay experience in any way. This game is free - wasting money on armor variants and/or colors will not help anyone become a better player.

I haven’t really made any comments on the cosmetic aspect of infinite yet, but right now I feel like exploding.

Remember when changing your color was free? Remember when you could choose from millions of colors and several finishes in racing games since before the previous decade? All for free? I couldn’t care less if Infinite is free. Paying for colors in a digital medium is a ripoff tantamount to literal insanity and bordering on pure evil.

They should give us a color wheel for free, and sell finishes for a couple bucks each. And how about selling color customization sections of armor? For example: For free, you would be able to customize your left leg with a color wheel, but you would have to purchase a pack to unlock the ability to make your left kneepad a different color from the rest of your leg. Maybe a dollar or two. Something really cheap so most people would seriously think about doing it. This way, you’re not buying colors, you’re paying to expand your ability to customize your armor.

The current system is extremely limiting because people want different colors and just have to randomly hope 343 releases what they want. Regardless of cost, the current system isn’t helping player expression, it’s actively suppressing it by forcing you to settle with whatever a few people at 343 come up with.

I can hardly believe Microsoft and 343 are incompetent enough to not figure this out on their own. Exactly how clueless, tone deaf, and detached from reality do you have to be to set up the current system we have? This is why people should be hired based not only on technical ability, but on how much they personally enjoy and understand video games, and can see things from the real player’s perspective.

Why don’t we fix video games?

Well, I was just replying to this:

Perhaps you should have replied to them about staying on topic, rather than me.

Lol. You’re a dork man. I spent two bucks so my AI could be purple. I like that color. I wanted to see it in btb when I play. I bought it cuz it makes me happy. Go be a loser somewhere else now

This is an FPS. Last I checked you can’t see your in-game spartan on-screen as you play. Are you playing a third-person variant?

Still waiting. Since you seem to have some kind of issue with my posts, please elaborate upon what the OP would get out of whatever he happened to whiff his money on as per the initial post above.

You see your AI in BTB when you hack doors, capture zones, and a few other instances. I want it to be purple when I see it

You only had to scroll up in the thread to find the answer you’re pretending to be after:

We used to be able to pick our colors not all that long ago… Colors should be free, patterns/ material can be paid.

Coatings were claimed to expand upon customization not restrict it, but all I’ve seen are restrictions. If Microsoft wants to sell something how about sell something we didn’t already have. There’s no excuse to sell colors. I’m not spending a single cent of real world currency for what should’ve been free in the first place.

Look at the rise of microtransactions. We went from 2.50$ horse armor to 60$ skins in some instances. 20$ which could’ve gotten you a massive expansion such as Skyrim’s Dragonborn DLC now only gets you an ugly armor set. You’re being scammed, and you keep letting them push the goal posts further and further. Console games are going to end up transforming into the raging trash fire that is mobile games soon enough, yet here we are once again justifying the greed of a corporate titans, and letting them push the goal posts further.

Another shameless cross-promo :grimacing:, but

Please take part in this poll and share your pricing-feedback for the current shop items:
https://forums.halowaypoint.com/t/update-week-05-2022-poll-how-much-would-you-pay-for-this-weeks-shop-items/495947

“Colors should be free” lol yeah they should. But we live in a reality called “current day” and in this current day you have to pay for some colors in infinite. Hopefully that changes in the future but it’s not changing for infinite. And no amount of comments saying “coLorS sHouLd Be FrEe!” Is going to change that.

I hope you realize you’re defending the bad guy.

I don’t agree with this aside from being able to change the color of each armor piece, but I agree with the rest of what you said.

I’d guess they don’t like video games very much.
They’re probably too busy (thinking of ways to charge people more money) to have fun and get immersed in a game.

I wanted to do this by starting my own video game company making free-to-play games the right way as well as games that aren’t free-to-play, but my memory is awful.

At the very least they should be around $0.10 and sold in packs of 10.
That said, if there are enough complaints, I think colors could be free.
