it got us wasps and good competitive multiplayer
but some youtubers are beating dead horses for attention (IMO) and i just have to say that if you are gonna complain talk about REAL issues and keep it constructive
and don’t live in denial
Well alot of people aren’t completely wrong in what they say?
They are allowed to voice their opinions, no matter how much it may seem like blind negativity to you.
When they mention topics such as the radar, aim, graphics, lack of content and so on… It’s because THEY feel it’s REAL issues, thus they’re gonna post and discuss it on the forums.
The wasp has also been discovered to have been in the Halo 4 game files by some modders, so it’s not entirely something that we just added because people kept asking.
And please do not make posts directed against certain people… We’ve had enough deviding within the community.

- i said criticism has its place.Its super important. My aim was to point out that simply saying -Yoink- 343 is not constructive (which many do)
- I made a post on the graphics and i also repeatedly mention the lack of arena gametypes. Im not directing this thread at feedback

“By denial i meant that people say halo 4…mcc…5 343 adding armour abilities”
these same people have halo reach tshirts and wallpapers whereas its generally accepted that reach is where the formula got muddled up

Where is race, KoTH, regicide, oddball, and dev support for BTB? Last time I played H5 BTB, there were only forged maps for BTB and I’m guessing that hasn’t changed with all the updates. In addition, Race and KoTH were game modes I enjoyed from CE but they are not in H5 which is depressing. I can go on and pretend that H5 is complete but that won’t result in 343i adding back those game modes. I’d rather be negative and point out flaws with the product; I’m pretty sure other players would love to have more game modes available as well.
Your 1st post did indeed strike me as a mere blind attack on those whom do throw their negative feedback, without thinking on what they’re saying.
However i still do not fully understand then what you mean by ‘‘Denial’’? Surely it’s fair enough if they feel the Halo 4 formular wasn’t anywhere near being good. There’s alot more that goes into why people dislike but the generally voice their overall opinion as to why they’re unhappy. Often they just come across as unconstructive to us but they do none the less have the right to speak out even if we feel it doesn’t belong here or if they’re just hatin’ because haters gonna hate.
I can understand they anger with MCC, i myself aint satisfied with the product after 2 years because it still has plenty of flaws, so many flaws… So many you can consider the Fallout games PERFECT from a technical and programmer perspective.
As for Halo 5… It was lacking. I have mostly agreed with people but not with blind nonsense about it having to be more like the older games. I support progress and innovation, even it a FEW parts are lacking in the favor of newer. Halo 5 came off to be as incomplete but has the feeling of completion now… which should have been there since day one.
We deal with hypocrites at every Halo release. The same who previously said the current game was bad, return once again only to say that the previous game, which they hated was better than the new release.
I recall lots of names that hated on Halo 4 whom returned at Halo 5s release and said ‘‘Halo 4 was better then this’’
We’re on forums. The best we can do is just not give those kind of posts the attention they hope because without any attention, a post dies out. It’s forum 101: If it aint interesting, it’s forgotten.

denial as in their refusal to acknowledge bungies mistakes in reach and that it heavily influenced halo 4

thats not negativity thats constructive criticism cos dev maps and gametypes are needed.
negativity is saying -Yoink- 343 bungie back pls instead of requesting for improvements

Constructive criticism by someone who has clearly done there research and makes a valid argument is always welcome in my mind, the heavy amount of negativity has destroyed Waypoint and turned it from a nice place to discuss Halo to place where people just pointlessly argue without any facts.
That being said the large amount of negativity did get us the weapons, gamemodes, UI changes, bosses and original maps that we wanted, it clearly gests results which is good but as I said Waypoint should be a place to discuss not a place to spread hate and be negative.

Becuase they were stuff that affected the game.
