2.5/5

Try to Keep this short but everbody and their grandmother need to quit faking about Halo 5, #HTT & FallofReach animation being decent work. #HTT made no connection with the H5 campaign. Also stating that the H5 campaign was a half job, like the directors probably realize that the campaign was s%!t and its was too late to it pull back cause of deadlines and just said " hope it sticks ". H5 Just sold a child’s novel with no impactful elements for a campaign. I can get more bang out of the Halo lore by reading the back of an action figure box. Btw the H5 trailers were a pre showing for a whole other game cause they surly didn’t relate with the actual game. Now with the FallofReach animation, as I currently can understand is that they are only 3 acts. With that being said, if true. (Then why the hell would they waste money on a 36% of the story. S%!t got real in the next few chapters. Why call it the fall of Reach if Reach never gets Ronda Rousey in the animation? Half job.) IN ALL, the trailers were useless (we know the ones I’m getting at), the campaign has little to offer lore wise, #htt was a waste after season 1, FallofReach animation (possibly a half job) Halo 5 is not a flagship of the Halo lore or Xbox, nether a blockbuster game. SMH a half job gets a half rating 2.5 out of 5. And the 2.5 is from the multiplayer.

Translation: “I didn’t like it so you shouldn’t either!”

That’s not how opinions work. Just FYI.

Hunt The Truth could never really connect to the Halo 5 campaign and everyone should have known that. The history of the Spartans has been known since the novel Fall of Reach came out. As for the whole ONI narrative, well, ONI are secretive and omnipresent. Again, nothing new.

343i needs to hire Bill Cosby. I’d like an entirely new weekly news segment titled “Recruit ranks say the darnedest things.”

Tbh, I don’t even 100% understand the OP.

Nope, but that’s how false consensus works.

What?

Let me guess, OP: You’re from the Destiny Forums, aren’t you?

This is the best game ever, campaign started slow…but sliding and jumping down a gaurdian? wow! They made it slick, multiplayer feels smooth, reqs are awesome. the extended lore is always hit or miss, go get fleet battles, dat some lore, or saints testimony…dat some moar lore. HTT was cool, never expected it to tie in to Halo 5 that much though, more to tie in with other media. The acts are cos the fall of reach graphic novels have 3 books (acts) every Halo fan knew and was expecting this. I thought i wasn’t enjoying the story at first…but the line “stand down Cortana” wow, just wow 343!

halo 2 and 3 had similar ad campaigns and E3 trailers but the big difference is Bungie made the games central to the lore and expanded on the EU

343 is using the games to supplement their EU products and merchandise

i wasnt thrilled with most the lines/catch phrases in this game because halo 2 and 3 had gems every cut scene

i wanst impressed with “the light is green”

but of course chief has the best line in mission 14:

Kelly: “Are we fighting a losing battle?”

Chief: “Only if we plan on losing”

yesssss

also EVERY preview/ad (especially Arbiter/Locke) didnt even tie in, the previews show arbiter talking to locke with the halo 2 “give the convenant back their bomb” scene playing

but in the game when arbiter and locke meet its like the first time they ever met…

so stupid no continuity

A little late for reviews aren’t we?

Not it a very fruitful review at that.
