Do we get a quit penalty for quitting a 1v4? I have been in this situation twice because of teammates quitting a minute into the game because they can’t accept being down by a bit. If I’m one against four, I’m going to quit (this is the only situation in which I’ll quit) because it’s a waste of everyone’s time. Does the penalty system detect this situation?
if you quit, it factors into the penalty system. Doesn’t matter what the reason is.

Doesn’t it seem unfair to apply that in the situation I mentioned? If you’re stuck in a 1v4 because your teammates weren’t patient enough to play a match which they might lose, you should have the right to quit. It’s just such a frustrating situation…

Yes it is very unfair, the only ways to avoid it are to team up (not realistic, friends play other games too), or improve JIP so that players joining late on a losing game do not get penalised, quitting is always going to happen, I can count on one hand how many teams finished with full numbers yesterday, it also makes a mockery of the rank system, it should be based more on performance, you cannot rank up when 1v4, 2v6, 4v8 etc, regardless of how well you do.

is there actually join in progress in arena? I’ve been abandoned multiple times and never had them replaced
Unfair, for sure. I’ve heard that if you quit, you’ll decrease even more in rank than if you just lost the game.
In other words, either your K/D is doomed to decrease for the five next minutes, or whether it’s your rank… Lovely dilemma.
There isn’t JIP in arena, and I think it’s the right decision…people just need to stop quitting, it’s really a bit ridiculous.

Yeah, it is a dilemma. As I said before I’ve decided to take the quitting route in 1v4 scenarios because honestly, dying 30 times isn’t my idea of fun and it’s a waste of my time and the other teams’. It’s been impossible for me to rank up in TS anyways as I search solo.
