Why did you need permission? Its better to play skirmish matches to help improve instead of going online then play online. Only self destruct against decent players who don’t rush since they will have earned their points while rushers don’t deserve them.

Correction, that is why barely anyone plays online. Never said I couldn’t counter a rush. I’m a General so its kind of hard not to win after a while. (facepalm)

I must have miss read your post, there is nothing wrong with private matches, but they aren’t very challenging if you play with they same people again and again.

just because I might rush doesn’t mean that the game won’t last for a long time; but I do usually try to finish a game as fast as I can which is usually in 10 or 15 minutes.

Tried rushing but I don’t get anything from it since people just quit which is why I stick to long matches, I have even let friends recover from getting nearly slaughtered out of respect.

you should be building units as soon as the game starts. if you don’t want to rush, why don’t you expand with those units or take hooks. you need early units to defend yourself and you’ll want to avoid making turrets early.

lol yep I know, been getting a few warthogs out there straight from the main base, quickly add first upgrade to warthogs, ram the crap out any covenant player character.

Is this guy serious? Yes please do, self destruct all you want I’d love a free win (I only cared for points prior to getting general)
Also I would love a high level 1v1 guide. I’m ok in teams but against higher level players in 1’s I always lose :S tips for playing anders would be nice as that is my prefered leader.
I would like one. And to those complaining about rushing, it’s called build a turret and scout your enemy. Greatest counter to all rushes.
