It’d be pretty cool if it was optional. And I’m sure Ghosts and Banshees have radars and screens and -Yoink!-, which is good enough for me.

O_O I didn’t even consider the Banshee. Considering Prisoner makes me motion sick if I look out the windows…yeah, no thanks! (And it’s strange because I NEVER get motion sick. But that map…Ugh.)
I don’t think it should be optional. That’s like saying it should be optional for the game to be switched from first person to third person. Third person vehicles is Halo, nothing else. Besides, first person vehicles would perform egregiously.

how many of these threads need to be made? have people not played games with this mechanic before. it sucks in shooters, racing games are ok.
every shooter with first person driving has terrible driving mechanics, period.
