The worst is the random comments in the main thread for the lag issues and someone will drop in “blah blah reqs blah blah so mad”. So yeah at least you can play the game… Also yes the drones that just say to switch ISP. Trust me if that option was available I would have already. TWC isn’t that bad in my area anyways. I have a between 20-40 ping for multiplayer games that use dedicated servers anyways. It is the piss poor locations of the dedicated servers and the unacceptable programming behind it that cause players to walk into walls all day every day. #Rant.
I’ve actually heard reports of success from players who have traded in their current routers for a different model. The following is what one user told me when he fixed his problem:
“I traded in my Arris modem to TWC for a different brand and I’ve been able to play ever since, it will have the issue maybe once a game in a week now so it’s definitely better.”
I have also heard a report or two from someone who contacted TWC directly. It turns out that TWC will erroneously process Halo 5: Guardians as P2P, when it should be processed entirely as a Dedicated Server. This is also why Matchmaking in MCC is iffy. Contacting TWC to get this issue sorted has proven successful for some users.
Unfortunately, outside of these suggestions, the only other thing I suggest is wait. Hopefully you are able to use this information.

Thank you but TWC has already been contacted. I have business class internet (promised speeds) of 50x5 and today I tried on someones 100x100 fiber (provided by TWC), as the ONLY user on the Fiber and the same thing still happened. I have had countless calls with TWC Fiber support and provided IP addresses for the P2P ips that are common and low and behold the official “not on TWCs end”.

I switched to my Verizon 4G LTE hotspot (and wireless gaming has sooo much lag and dropped packets, it’s NEVER recommended) but at least it’s less jumps across the rooms, 1 shot with the AR and your dead even after emptying an entire clip into them.
TWC user here and never have any issues. Almost zero lag since day one. I’m in NYC, wired 100/20 connection and port forwarding. Didn’t have issues with past games either.
