Is it just me, or does this seem a bit ridiculous? I only targeted the king for several matches yesterday, and when I get around 10-13 Regicides, I win the match. Any tips from people who have accomplished this?
I agree. Some games I’m lucky to get 18 kills, let alone 18 specific kills. Maybe we’re interpreting it wrong. Anyone have any insight?
I’m also avoiding killing players other than the king. When I become king, I run out in the middle of the map and shoot in the air to lose the crown… and I still win =P
The description doesn’t quite make sense in my opinion, because what you have to do for the challenge isn’t clearly lined out.
The challenge makes it seem like you have to kill the king 18 times, that’s not the case.
The actual objective is to get 18 kills AS the king, or ON the king.
So when you kill the king, that’s 1 point. When you get a kill on anyone else while you’re king, that’s another point.
If you’re not the king and you kill someone who isn’t king, that’s when you don’t get a point.
The first few games I tried to do it I thought you had to kill the king 18 times. Needless to say I didn’t get it. Three matches later I did a bit of searching around and found out this info.

If you’re doing it just for the XP then you might as well go play Spartan Ops for a good amount of easy XP.

No it is not. It must be done in 1 game
Yeah, took me 3 tries. I LOST that game too! Lol! I actually wound up with the most kills, and the best K/D ratio… but someone got more regicides (King kills) than me. I was king for about 90% of the match… and I lost… wtf! Haha.
