I am about to roll over level 81 and JUST received DMR Req for warzone. But also I have less then half of all customizable reqs, at 170 hours in! Wtf? I can not think of a game you need to grind so hard for unlocks! Or at least I have not really played one. Is this the direction most games are goin in?

It’s good, makes the game last longer and gives you something to look forward to
I am also and 81 and last night after buying strictly silvers (and selling a few old games for some cash on a big gold pack) I finally got to the point where silver packs don’t unlock any permanents for me. They still give me the single use goodies, but now instead of the two permanents they system offers me two cards worth 1500 RPs, which makes the sliver packs cost 2000 RP after the difference, which is good for quick and cheap loot! This will change once Meridian comes out, there will be new items of Rare value of lower in that update, then I’ll be getting strictly gold packs.

im at level 80 something and ive got quite a few dmrs. just constantly spend req points on gold packs
I didn’t get the Level 6 Warzone DMR until level 80 as well. Still grinding hard for the Halo 2 BR. After finishing all Bronze/Silver permanent unlocks, the Gold are really consistent w/ Ultra rare and Legendary REQs. I appreciate the amount of time it takes to unlock everything because I’m still not bored with this game and I’m probably close to 250 hours.

I bought a mix at first untill I started reading about buying low to increase the chances later when buying gold, so I have emptied bronze and I would like to say I’m most of the way through silver, with a sprinkle of gold.
I got completely through silvers by 60-something. That’s when the grind starts… unfortunately.
I’m at level 77 and yeah you got to work your way up to maximize the amount you will get with your REQ packs. I have almost all of the weapon variants for AR, magnum, SMG, etc. Sounds like you may have been a little late to the “work your way up” party.
If you are just buying gold packs then there is your problem.
