Loving it.
Was previously a Slayer only type of player… but warming to the objectives.
Getting the hang of the new weapons - but don’t feel confident enough yet to stray too far away from spawn guns. My accuracy seems to be better than Halo 5… so I think I’ve adjusted for the lower aim assist ok. Don’t feel I’m nailing the head shots quite as well, particularly to finish some off. So still a bit of work to do.
Only just getting used to the maps (it takes me ages to get them sorted out in my head).
Settled into a rank of Platinum 5 (just clipped over into 6). Which feels about right. I was Plat 4/5 in H5. Matches seem pretty balanced. I feel what I lack in map knowledge and weapon skills is currently balanced by my commitment to the team objective.
Haven’t come across anyone so far who I thought was cheating.
Certainly haven’t given two hoots if they are using controller or KBM.
Just having a LOT of fun.
