Haven. Best 4v4 map in Halo 4.
-
Ragnarok. Best CTF map.
-
Exile. Runner up best CTF map.
-
Oddball. Halo staple with a twist: passing with a coordinated team was special. <3
-
King of the Hill. A classic.
-
Extraction. Better than Strongholds imo.
-
Team Doubles. 'nuff said.
-
the Halo 4 BR. Felt smoother compared to the Halo 5 BR.
-
Hologram. Just fun to use, would be an interesting power up pickup like camo/os.
-
Map Veto. Because no one wants to keep playing Regret.
-
Sticky Detonator. One of the most fun weapons to use in Halo 4, slightly OP, but still fun as hell.
-
Flood. A nice, relaxing change of pace.
-
the OG Boltshot. If they kept the secondary fire, but nerfed it that it dropped shields, not insta-kill, then we might have something here.
-
Vehicles in 4v4 Slayer/Objective. It just felt like Halo.
-
Shutout. Lockout needs to be remade in every Halo game!
Omissions: 25m radar, shield recharge during sprint
Expect a lot of hate from this post.
Haven was my go-to Doubles map, I thought Doubles was absolutely amazing on Haven. At least we’re getting Oddball this month, but I slightly agree with you about Extraction, I felt that it was a unique mode. Halo 4 had map voting not veto, didn’t it?

oops. yeah. haven’t played it in a while.
I think cod players were the only ones who liked halo 4.

Is there some law that prevents playing both?

I played it so much because I thought I was MLG at it, until I realized the amount of bullet magnetism…

What?! This one needs a bit of explaining

Haven was actually a great map in general. oddball and KoTH are of course needed. I hated the noise of the H4 BR it didnt sound deadly. Map veto is what every game needs. Sticky detonator was a great power weapon which is perfect. This new bolt shot sucks. I cant get a kill. also lockout remakes of course.

Last COD I played was Black Ops 1 and I liked Halo 4 for it’s campaign and BTB.
AT least they cared about BTB in Halo 4.

I don’t play CoD multiplayer and I liked Halo 4 a lot

Agree. I swear I play the same 2-3 maps every day. Though the rotation of them may change. It’s frustration playing the same maps 3 times in a four game period.
I love all of that, and I miss the radar too. As well as AA’s. Hate me all you like but at least with armor abilities your playstyle could change at every life.
I miss the 2-hour-long Assassinations-Only Custom Game on Longbow. More than 30 different players came and went during its duration, after starting with only 6 (me and 5 friends). I ended up in 2nd place by a very close margin, but I still look back on that game as the most fun I’ve ever had playing a video game. Halo 4 was fun for me. Maybe it wasn’t a good Halo game, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t a great video game.

I hate cod but I loved Halo 4

I disagree with almost EVERY thing you have listed!

> - Haven. Best 4v4 map in Halo 4. ( I would honestly agree. Between this, Skyline, and the forge map Relay, these are the only original 4v4 maps I liked.)
> - Ragnarok. Best CTF map. (Save for the mantis, I would agree on this also, being that is a Valhalla remake and I love Valhalla as a map.)
> - Exile. Runner up best CTF map. (Between this, Harvest, and Longbow, these are the only other BTB maps I liked in Halo 4.)
> - Oddball. Halo staple with a twist: passing with a coordinated team was special. <3 (I did like being able to throw the ball, but wish that there was an option to disable that simply for nostalgia purposes.)
> - King of the Hill. A classic. (Can’t go wrong with game types that existed in previous games being in the sequel, now can we?)
>
> - Extraction. Better than Strongholds imo. (I never played much extraction, so I wouldn’t know.)
> - Team Doubles. 'nuff said. (Here, here.)
> - the Halo 4 BR. Felt smoother compared to the Halo 5 BR. (I think it looked cooler with the square scope over the crappy iron sights we got with the Halo 5 BR.)
> - Hologram. Just fun to use, would be an interesting power up pickup like camo/os. (As a map pickup, I could see most of the armor abilities being a cool addition.)
> - Map Veto. Because no one wants to keep playing Regret. (Or Overgrowth, The Rig, Fathom, Eden, Pegasus, or Orion. Hell, most of the Halo 5 maps in general.)
>
> - Sticky Detonator. One of the most fun weapons to use in Halo 4, slightly OP, but still fun as hell. (But mah Reach pro-pipe though.)
> - Flood. A nice, relaxing change of pace. (Meh, would rather Infection. At least we’d have more customization options like player colors and the ability to hold other weapons as the infected.)
> - the OG Boltshot. If they kept the secondary fire, but nerfed it that it dropped shields, not insta-kill, then we might have something here. (Honestly, I just wish the Boltshot would die in a fire.)
> - Vehicles in 4v4 Slayer/Objective. It just felt like Halo. (Depends on the map. If we’re talking maps like High Ground from Halo 3, then I’m all for it. If we’re talking maps like Complex, then hell-to-the-no.)- Shutout. Lockout needs to be remade in every Halo game!
