So, I was under the impression that Behind Enemy Lines was the 11th mission and around the middle of the campaign. With the mission count being confirmed as 15 in the Gold blog post, I’m failing to understand how it’s the midpoint unless the remaining 4 missions are really long. Is it just me being misinformed or is anyone else confused?

Because you are mixing approximates and exacts.

You can mathematically show where the middle is and how you feel missions 5-10 are around a middle more than 4-11 but that’s over-complicating.

My concern is will two of those levels be intro and outro cinematics. like in Halo 4
They said it was 2/3 the way through not halfway.

From what I recall they didn’t count the prologue and epilogue as part of the mission count in Halo 4. I don’t see why they would now.

Mission 02 is Blue Team, and Osiris’ mission precedes that. Also Enemy Lines is not mission 11, it is the 10th one (you could see it on the pause menu).

So by mission 11 they STILL have no found 117.
I guess this is going to be with a “to be continued…” where both teams meet.?

some said 2/3 the way, some also said half-way.
Though i do recall more saying 2/3 than 50-50. So 15-18 missions was my expectations.
The good news is that we know there’s no ‘epilogue’ mission. So atleast 14 of the missions are pure gameplay. Unlike Halo 3/Reach’s 9 missions and 4’s 8 missions.
i really like the halo by the numbers at the end of that blog post. it gave a little boost to the hype seeing it all in one like that. lol
Beginning missions 1-5, middle missions 6-11, ending missions 12-15. The grouping isn’t that far out there if this follows a three act set-up.
I don’t think Swords of Sanghelios and Enemy Lines are the same level like Greenskull surmised either, they have different starts.

15 “levels” confirmed
therefore, it’s essentially confirmed 2 levels are prologue/epilogue which is a bummer. 13 actual missions.
Where did they confirm one skull per level? I haven’t heard that at all.
you’re correct they haven’t confirmed 1 skull per level, so maybe I’m wrong above
just the gameplay videos when they pause it says “skulls 0/1” on all the missions we’ve seen
