So the stats they released of all the missions and stuffs says that Halo 5 will have 15 missions.
Well in the Halo MCC I noticed that for each campaign it always included the epilogue and the prologue as a mission
So in fact those campaigns were 2 missions shorter than what it said.
What also had me think this is that there are only 13 skulls. That would mean 2 missions donāt have skulls or there are only 13 missions.
AND there is roughly only 8-12 hours of gameplay on normal. Sounds like that could be 13 missions worth.
If there isnāt a total of 15 missions it isnāt the end of the world. Game still looks amazing.

Nope. Kamchatka is mission 1. So thereās atleast 14 out of 15 missions.
And technically, when Halo 4 came out, 343i confirmed it was 8 playable missions before launch (2 being an epilogue and prologue increasing the number to 10) so I wouldnt be surprised if the epilogue is tied to mission 15 like how Halo CE had no prologue/epilogue
I pretty much expect this to happen, but I donāt find to be all that big of a deal. 13 missions is plenty, especially if theyāre long (which theyāre said to be).

Check out the Blue team mission gameplay from the embargo awhile ago. They specifically state its mission 2. As in Mission 2, not playable mission 2 (or Mission 3 on the menu) and josh and frankie have confirmed on separate occaisions that the opening level is Kamchatka, which takes place before Blue Team.
One thing that past Halo games had even though the campaigns were shorter in length of time of completion compared to the 8-12 hours on Normal difficulty that weāre expecting out of Halo 5 is that those campaigns had a lot of narrative substance mixed in with the game play. There was always something apart of the missions that urged you to feel progressed about it and never along the lines of feeling utterly repetitive.
If Halo 5 is roughly 1/3 longer than even Halo 2/3s campaigns and it keeps at the very least the same amount of substance that those games offered (which looks by far that there is A LOT more substance due to the squad mate feature, enhanced sandbox style play with more routes of exploration and unique level geometry to mess around with), weāll actually not only be running the 10 hour average (on Heroic difficulty for example when it comes to the competent player who wants to do some general exploration on the side while progressing), youāll also be looking forward to much replay ability to experiment with different scenarios (like what would happen if you went this certain route and you sent your squad mates through another route).
Thus youāre actually going to probably spend around 16 hours total for 2 campaign playthroughs on Heroic difficulty alone to experience the various possibilities. For those that are going to venture into Legendary Difficultyā¦ I wonder how long itāll take for one playthrough.

We havenāt seen anyone go from the main menu>campaign>mission one and start playing (as far as I know) so there could be something even before what we have seen that would count as a prologue.

Blue Team is Mission 2. Every single source has said that. And 343i didnāt count the prologue/epilogue when the announced missions for Halo 4, so they probably wouldnāt here either.

That doesnt necessarily mean theyāre different cutscenes
