Is there a specific reason why the Series S only has 1080p 120fps and 1080p 60fps modes? It needs a 2k 60fps mode (1440p 60fps). It shouldn’t be a technical issue. The series S has 4 TFLOPS of GPU power, and so does the RX 470 on my PC, which can run MCC at 1440p 120 all day (with the exception of Reach, it averages about 80 fps in Invasion). 1440p 60 should be no problem. Has this been requested already and I miss it, or was it ignored? 1080p max on the Series S is a little silly. Just my two cents.
I think the main thing is the difference in graphic quality between MCC and Infinite. On my pc I can play MCC on 1440p max settings without dropping frames, on Infinite I need to drop all setting to the lowest option possible and the game can barely handle 60 fps. That’s why I prefer to play Infinite on my Xbox Series S where the quality is very low compared to the low pc settings but the Series S can still rock 120 fps. So I understand why Infinite has lower quality on Series S but for MCC I don’t understand because the MCC graphics had been set to low on Series S and the max you get is 60 fps, I’m sure it can handle much more.
I don’t understand why series s isn’t 1440p now. Even though my tv can use 120hz, I never use it, been fine with 60fps and better resolution
