I just activated the “14 Day Xbox Live ‘GOLD’ Trial” to be told that this trial is only for halo 5 multiplayer and thats it … no other games multiplayer just halo 5 … also u dont receive any gold benefits as well ??? Did i miss something or is that a little Snidey?
What they are offering is a 14 day trial for halo 5 multiplayer not a 14 day gold trial…which i feel is underhanded.
i believe they should honor what the offer states and not what it is when u redeem it.

Go to the Xbox website and access your profile there. You should be able to redeem the code on the website.

Same thing to me, It said " you already have a gold membership, maybe give it to a friend" or something along those lines. I was like “wtf?” lol
It says it on the card to redeem that it’s exclusively for Halo 5:Guardians.
One can often find a year of XBL on sale for $35. Save those pennies up boys!

14 DAY GOLD TRIAL
Trial is normally for what ever game it came with only normally they last a long time
I had reach for ages and used a trial from it when halo 4 came out
Don’t think I got a 14 day trial card but if it says “14 Day Gold Trial” but the T&C’s say for use on Halo 5 then its technically a 14 Day Halo 5 Multi-Player Trail not a Gold trial?? Or am I confused?
Wow interesting. I’ve never have seen a trial card that’s exclusive to a game. I’ve always been able to use them across the board with no issues.
I wanted to sacrifice the gold so my brother can use the Xbox cloud to get his skylander progress from 360 to one, but, like OP said, no gold benefits outside of the games, but he could do online skylanders mp at least, for 2 weeks.
14 days of free online for a game you bought is good imo.
because I got the game digitally I have to go to the community tab in the halo5 menus then click on XBL gold trial when I do it takes me to waypoint then it tells me theres an error and to try again later. Can someone help I mean damn im going through withdrawals since my other trial expired
Not sure whats up with that, but currently you should be able to get a month of free XBL, for like 6-8 more days till offer ends I think.
