It came back yesterday. I’m so glad. We finally got Warzone back to how it’s meant to be played. Now we no longer have to carry 6 brain dead randoms. I didn’t have my usual team, but I got 12 friends together and we were straight up dominating in both Warzone and Warzone Assault. It wasn’t even a contest. This took me back to the early days of Warzone.
…And that seems fair to you. It’s the kind of matchmaking balance that is BS. Most people hated the early days.
I’m hoping to get my friends back into warzone. We had 8-10 last night. Mostly casual players so we weren’t “dominating” but we were having a blast again.
We used to be able to run 2 teams of 12 on warzone nights. I just want that back.
I hope a lot of the players that left are not too jaded to come back. The more teams in warzone the better it will be for mm, for team players and players running solo, this could give the gamemode a much needed boost. Hasn’t been the same since restriction. Heck even this morning was the first time I was able to find a WZA game in the morning in quite some time. Usually had to wait till afternoon through the evenings to match.

I think 12 person parties can only match other 12 person parties unless they got rid of that, but if not, then that seems more fair to me.

Most of those teams either quit entirely or started running 6 man fireteams after the reduction. A lot of those players will be back in teams now meaning that a solo player no longer has to deal with the 6 man squads. If they match against a team they get high mmr teammates I believe.
I run solo too. And I have been able to find games in assault this morning very easily. Which is nice and not very common until this recent change.

This sucks for solo players
I need to get the team back together.
The thing I’m the most excited for about this is that people are reporting actually being able to find matches again. Unfortunately my 12 man team disbanded long ago.

I never got to experience being on a 12 man team, only experienced the destruction on the opposing side lmao.

Lol you’re funny. Just a couple days ago, I dropped over 30 to 40 kills and only died a few times. Me and my team probably dropped over 200 to 300 kills that game.

It’s always been bad for solo players regardless of 12 man or no 12 man. As someone who solo queues, I’ve been getting a lot more JiPs and laggy matches compared to what I faced 1-2 years ago. Low population counts and MMR both play major parts in this.
So yes, it has gotten worse overtime, but it has nothing to do with 12 man.

Coming from the guy that I had to carry in the past in warzone whilst solo queuing.

probably a good thing. wont be fun to match a full stacked team when im solo, but that really never was much of a problem
