12/22 Patch unable to download

This is the first patch I have been unable to download and install. I get the prompt, but every time the download process starts, I get a message that “something went wrong.” No error code, no explanation. Just “something went wrong.” I have complete internet access with no problems, matchmaking connection has no issues. I have an open NAT and ports forwarded. I have power cycled, ran system diagnostics, even restored my Xbox to factory defaults and completely reinstalled HALO:MCC. Still, “something went wrong.” I was working with Xbox support for over an hour yesterday and went through every possible avenue. Nothing. I had no problem downloading any prior updates or even OS updates for the Xbox itself. After all this BS that has gone on with this game, I am still frustrated beyond belief. Has anyone else had this issue? Any possible “fixes”?
