117 REQ Packs OPENED! Reward Pattern?

SWAT Team member ImpatientGamer0 just spent his hard earned money on 117 REQ packs in honor of the Chief. Check out the rewards in the video below! Also, there may be a progression pattern seen in the upgrades of vehicles as REQ packs are acquired. What’s your thoughts?

Lazy link.

I appreciate the link fix, thank you!

We need a bigger sample size other than just 117 packs from one player before we start talking about patterns and probabilities.

What’s your rationale? You can see how the rewards don’t jump in vehicle ascension, they consistently progress. You don’t get an ONI version of a vehicle prior to obtaining the base model.

Also, where would you be satisfied on a REQ pool? 117 cost $350. Maybe you can pony up some additional statistics gathering?

117 is the only number that matters. >:| (inb4 people fail to notice sarcasm)

I like that

I concede that this data alone won’t provide an algorithm;however, it is a significant data set. It is a valid statistical representation considering the target pool of possibilities. When you only have a few hundred options to unlock, 100+ results is a great preview. Way better than a gallop poll commonly using a 3% representation.

But if you disagree you should bring a solution to the problem. #themoreyouknow

I wasn’t actually saying the data was irrelevant. It was more just a non-constructive post and how 117 is an important number in HALO, etc etc.

your humor remains welcomed. My comments weren’t directed at the joke, they were generally addressing the thread. Sorry about the miscommunication on my end.

tens of thousands is conservative considering the fan base. You’re talking world wide appeal, so it’s likely close to millions.

but you’re missing the point, what single account has opened that many req packs? The significance remains in one person’s documented progression of rewards.

did you watch the pack results?
