Arena needs a req boost stat
There was a thread about this the other day IIRC…regardless yes arena is in sore need of a req point buff. The current payout is largely unfair unless you main BTB or warzone since even req point boosts in arena are comparatively much smaller.
I agree, Arena is where the pro players are, it does not make sense that Warzone give us more REQ then Arena.
This makes complete since honestly, if you are a mainly Arena Player then what reason do you have for REQs other than for cosmetics? REQ points were introduced for the sole purpose of buying and unlocking REQs which are used exclusively in Warzone. So it stands to reason that Warzone gives far more REQ than arena since you are constantly using REQs. Even then some War zone players would agree that the REQ you earn in War zone still isn’t enough given the rate of consumption.

While I agree to some extent, Arena players want their cosmetic items and have to dig through warzone items to get them. Obviously if cosmetics were earned in a separate way from warzone REQs it would be completely fair for Arena to get less points, but that’s not the case and never will be as it is much more advantageous for 343 to make everyone have to dig through everything to get what they want.

Yea except why should an arena player have to play for longer than a warzone player to have a chance, I repeat, A CHANCE at unlocking one or two cosmetic items at the max. Even if you sell the rest of the pack back it doesn’t really offer any kind of a benefit. I want armor/weapon skins and assassinations. Basically I have to buy Gold packs if I want anything good, but when I get mongeese needlers, or uncommon armors it’s a huge waste along with any permanent warzone unlock. Why are arena players being punished for this?
They should at least make a cosmetic req pack that will contain only armor, emblems, and other cosmetics and price it slightly higher than a gold and even then it still will be annoying because then arena players have to wait even longer to get their reqs while warzone playerbase can still choose cosmetic only packs and get all the benefit still. Regardless of how you look at it the req system caters entirely to the warzone fan base.
Again I could understand your point if there were different ways to unlock armor, but there aren’t so why should I get screwed on unlock progression because I don’t play warzone? BTB is at least comparable, but some people like the smaller maps and modes.
