So… how about that 10AM PST update? I get that you can’t fix a game (that obviously shouldn’t have been released) this quick, but could you at least get an intern to type up the update you promised? Does everyone just get to show up for work whenever they feel like it at 343?
Also, for everyone that’s bashing the people complaining (getting online to complain about complainers?), you’ll have to excuse those of us that remember Bungie releasing games that actually worked when they were released (I realize there are always bugs, that’s completely different than JUST NOT WORKING AT ALL). We’ve come to expect to be able to play games after we’ve paid for them. It’s not childish to want to hold people accountable for what they’re accountable for (all 343 employees are paid employees, that have jobs, and their jobs come with expectations). 343 wouldn’t have to issue apologies if they had done nothing wrong. You kids that are bashing people for expecting to play the game they paid for (what they should expect) will be complete failures at life if you truly believe what you profess to believe (that people who pay you shouldn’t expect you to successfully do what you’re paid to do).
There is just so much wrong with this game. It makes me wonder how 343 got away with releasing it to the reviewers without them even knowing.
When I take off the 343 blindfold, it’s very clear to me we’re looking at a 2 month wait before the bugs can all be completely swatted. Sure achievements and general MM will work after a week, but that bug list is sooo big.

Completely agreed. We didn’t tell them to give us a heads up on their next update, they did that on their own. That’s all we as gamers have to go on is what they’re telling us. Now they’re ignoring their own self-imposed deadlines. This is embarrassing.

Could you post a link to the page you are referring to? I can’t seem to find the 10 AM part.

“morning pst” is what they said, we are 42 minutes away from “afternoon pst”… I know it is nitpicking but facts are facts. Ball after ball, 343i is fumbling left and right.
Personally, I understand to an extent that things take time. I also understand that they were up against a strict timeline with this game and -Yoink- happens. But the list of bugs is sooooooooo huge it is almost unforgivable.

They did actually say in there 11pm posting on 11/11 that their next update would be 11/12 10AM PST. That’s specifically what I started the thread about. They’ve now updated, but I just wanted to clarify. You can still see it in the locked thread if you’re still interested.

Well, the update kind of worked. I managed to get into my first match after they released the update, but so far, it was a 1-time thing.

Pro Tip: don’t be a little kid. First of all, whatever long, ridiculous link you just posted isn’t the legit update. The legit update is posted in THIS forum and wouldn’t require a link.
Second: I wasn’t talking about the fact that there would never be an update, I was posting about the fact that they said 10:00AM, and it was after 11:00AM before they posted an update.
