Finally got 1000G for Halo 4! Every achievement unlocked! The last achievement was pretty rough. Had to survive the attack on Spartan Ops Chapter 1 Episode 5 without dying or loosing any of the slip space tech. Couldn’t do it by myself, had to join a game and do it. Surprisingly, we made it a good team for a bunch of strangers. Felt good getting it!
I will say though, the achievements were rather too easy to get. I mean, there was achievements just for taking screenshots and changing your service tag. The actual achievements such as the campaign ones were quite challenging (especially the mission 4 one, considering all marines are considered cannon fodder in any Halo game) but I was expecting some actual achievements in multiplayer like in Halo 3. You could get achievements for getting Overkills, Sword kills, splattering with a mongoose. I wish for more achievements like that. Well, maybe not as difficult as the mongoose one, but at least some multiplayer achievements.
Hopefully the Crimson map pack will include them as well as the rest. But what I like about the easy achievements is that you will be more focused on having some fun rather then struggle getting hard achievements. Overall, I am satisfied!
Anyone else get it? What are your thoughts on the achievements in Halo 4?
I know achievements are everything too me like Halo 3 achievements meant everything becuase they were so hard to get, in Halo 4 though everyone is going to have 1000G I feel that 343I is lacking on the difficult achievements. Good news is that the Crimson map pack does come with another 250G and they will most likely all be online too. Halo Reach had the same thing and the multiplayer achievements for Halo Reach were quite challenging so I think we will start to see the old Halo 3 online achievemnts back very soon
Honestly some of the Halo 4 achievements were a joke. All of the “Main Menu achievements” such as armor, emblem changes, etc. were just laughable and shouldn’t have even existed. The “Dedicated to Crimson” achievement should be more like complete all chapters of Spartan Ops solo on Legendary or something.
Anyway, speaking of achievements, “Dedicated to Crimson” won’t unlock for me. I haven’t completed Episode 5 on Legendary or done it solo yet, but I did complete it via coop matchmaking on Heroic and the achievement says any difficulty. All other episodes are complete. Is anyone else having this issue?
