Hey didnt they say in season 2 there will be assassanations, correct? I really want the assassanations in infinite as well as new maps and game modes and all

On top of Seasons, there needs to be a robust progression system that gives you a reason to earn challenges and play games. There always needs to be an incentive to play the game, and the weekly ultimate isn’t it

So is that really what 343 wants? for people to walk away from their game?
From the dimple basis that you have already played 1000 games and dedicated a bit more than 13 days of active playtime playing the game, it could easily be assumed that you have enjoyed and that you still enjoy the game to a great extent. If this isn’t the case, why have you dedicated so much time playing the game?

Personally I love mesh maps. Uncharted 3 had fantastic multiplayer mesh maps they would randomly add or swap each challenge reset. 343 has some pretty awful maps that look nice, but are only kind of good for a couple game modes, and nothing else. They need to hurry up with Forge, because I’d be totally up for mesh block maps. They are the most important part of making a fun level. Doesn’t matter how beautiful a map is, if the layout sucks. The map needs to be fun first and foremost, and needs to support a variety of game modes. Here were some from Uncharted 3.

Whelp, hopefully Elden Ring will be awesome. I guess 343 just doesn’t care about Halo Infinite. There’s no roadmap, no new game modes, no announcements for when Forge will be released, etc. These things were made available at this point during Halo 5’s lifecycle. Remember when we all thought that was the worst Halo game ever? I mean, come on 343, you guys eventually put together a good collection of games in MCC on PC, right?
Oh, wait, that was AFTER 7 (shout out to Bungie’s choice of lucky number) years of development, with the first 4 years being complete with glitches, broken multiplayer, and lack of armor customization. Oh, and don’t forget that most of those games were made by Bungie, a superior game developer in just about every regard. Not to mention that whenever they released a title, it was actually a COMPLETE GAME.
Take Reach for example. It came out with FULLY WORKING FORGE, CO-OP Campaign, a fantastic multiplayer that holds up to this day, Firefight, Theatre, etc. And, get this, they added new game modes and maps in addition to the release throughout the games lifecycle.
Are you starting to get the hint? I really, really hope so. But I seriously doubt it. I’m sure that many of the developers at 343 who are passionate about game development are absolutely exhausted with having to deal with the daily deluge of negative feedback. But this is what they signed up for, no they brought this upon themselves.
This barebones version of Halo Infinite is not what anyone expected or wanted. For our loyalty to the franchise despite it’s rough patches, we should have gotten a more complete game. This is not live service, this is a single-player ONLY campaign, put together with a halfway broken multiplayer with the only fully working feature being the store.
Ah yes, the store, I’m sure the senior leaders at 343, as well as the corporate heads at Microsoft were absolutely thrilled to see that aspect fully functioning working in spades. Broken Multiplayer, Barebones game, they can fix that with patches later. I mean it’d nice, very nice in fact, if we could I don’t know actually be given more information about these patches. Yes, NOT being in the dark for weeks on end would be very nice indeed.
This is wrong 343, get your act together, make a roadmap in a timely manner (preferably within the week), and fix this game. And don’t be sorry, be better.
The player count is dead!
after 4 months of lacklustre updates the only 2 actual useful changes have been:
- Simply making BTB playable (took 2 months to fix)
- Prioritising low ping games (should be a basic fundamental of any game)
The store has been pure trash imo with both price and lack of content.
I’m hoping to the guardians that this update is massive and has depth.
But I’m definitely not holding my breath.
EDIT: The Crimson Serpent Weapon Set is freaking SWEET! For THAT many weapon skins and for such a cheap price, THAT is easily the best store drop 343 has made to date. 
I was really hoping for some more maps, we desperately need some new maps.
- But that weapon set value is a great move in the right direction, LETS HAVE MORE OF THAT!

I’ve been playing MCC the last few weeks to get my Halo fix because just like you i’ve played so much of Infinite and its just getting stale as well as all the issues with quitters, 4v3s, etc. I’m holding out hope that with this rank reset coming soon (sometime today?) that we will get some more ranked playlists. Maybe even some new ones like Snipers or 2v2 but I know most would like more maps but unfortunately i don’t see that happening until season 2.
I never heard that im afraid, all i know is they promised better rewards for second BP as well as earnable credits in it along side new games modes and a better store.
Some of these things are currently in progress, but im giving till the second BP to see these changes implemented. Sadly no forge till August or i may have forgiven them, forge is a big thing to me
That’s a lot of time spent on a beta !
